Apple, along with 20 other young women, ranging from the ages 16 to 22, made their debut during the high society event on Saturday.
However, after a clip showing the Vanderbilt University student stealing the spotlight from another debutante emerged on social media, the Internet was critical of the youngster’s behavior.
The Internet branded her approach as "mean girl" behavior as she seemingly stole the thunder of another debutante.

The other girl, dressed in a black strapless gown, was posing as the photographer was taking her shots. Though the participants were moving in a line, netizens accused Apple of rushing in and entering the frame even though the previous debutante was not done yet.
After edging into the frame, Apple posed with her hands on her hips while pouting, as the other girl was forced out of the frame. Though the debutante managed to ease the situation with a laugh, netizens noticed the awkwardness of the situation and slammed Paltrow’s daughter for inconsideration.
While netizens are now calling out Apple’s behavior, her mother -- who was also present at the ball with ex-husband Martin and son Moses -- previously talked about her daughter’s “sense of entitlement," reported Daily Mail.

Some netizens even slammed her parents, Gwenyth Paltrow and Chris Martin.
Slamming them, one person wrote, "Poor parenting! No matter personal wealth basic manners is the backbone of good parenting. Cut off her means and make her work on the real world. She needs to appreciate the value of money in the real world."

Someone else philosophized, "Humility usually starts at the bottom rung of success. Less so when the climb starts at the top rung."

"Please…Apple didn’t fall far from her tree. She has had “mean girl” rumors chasing her for years," added someone else.
