Hailey Bieber calls out Billboard for ranking her husband Justin at No 8 on ‘Greatest Pop Star’ list

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Billboard recently released its 'Greatest Pop Stars of the 21st Century' list and has ranked Grammy-winning artist Justin Bieber in the eighth spot.

In late October, it was disclosed that Justin secured the eighth spot on the list, following Kanye West, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Drake, and Rihanna, with the top two spots remaining unannounced.

While the eighth-place ranking is impressive, Hailey Bieber expressed her frustration and publicly disagreed with the position, voicing her dissatisfaction online.

In order to express her displeasure with the list, Hailey Bieber took to the comments section of Billboard's post, where they shared a photo of Justin Bieber, writing, "Justin Bieber is No. 8 on Billboard's list of the 25 Greatest Pop Stars of the 21st Century ‘Greatest Pop Star’ 🌟." 

Hailey's comment on the post read, "Billboard is a f**king joke as per usual." The comment quickly gained attention online on Thursday, November 21, as users shared screenshots of it across social media.

It’s important to note that Justin has not released an album since his 2022 album 'Justice'. Throughout his career, he has achieved significant Billboard milestones, including six No1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 and six studio albums that topped the Billboard 200 chart. 

Despite his tremendous success and global following, he has recently shifted his focus to personal priorities, particularly after the birth of his son, Jack Blues Bieber, with his wife Hailey, reported Newsweek.

Hailey’s father Stephen Baldwin also mentioned how the couple has been prioritizing their family life, saying, "They're just spending really sweet, private quality time with Jack and we're just getting ready to watch him come out on the world here, come out on the scene.."

Upon learning of Hailey Bieber's scathing 8-word response to Justin Bieber's ranking, several online users quickly shared their opinions, mocking and criticizing her.

One user posted a sarcastic GIF of a laughing woman, saying, "She should be lucky he even made the list."

Another user wrote, "8 was already way higher than I expected so what’s her problem 💀."

One commenter asked, "Did she expect him to get higher than that?"
