Halle Berry reveals how Prince once asked her out at one of his concerts

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Halle Berry disclosed an interesting interaction she had with the late Prince during her appearance on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ on Monday, September 23.

When the late-night host asked the actress if there was any truth in the rumor that Michael Jackson took Babyface’s help to ask her out, she replied, "I don’t know, but I know Prince asked me out on a date," as per The Hollywood Reporter.

Halle Berry went on to share that the late multi-instrumentalist took the initiative by passing her a note while she was at one of his concerts in Los Angeles. 

"I was at one of his concerts here on Sunset at The Key Club, and he had somebody come out with a piece of paper. And you know like kids do, you say, ‘Do you like me? Yes or no.’ I went, yes!" told the ‘Kidnap’ star to Kimmel.

After sending back the note, she received another one from the singer. The question on it was, "Would you go out with me?"

But Berry chose not to respond to it. She explained, "No, I didn’t send the paper back. I kept the paper."

Kimmel then asked, "Can I have it?" before jokingly noting, "So wait, between guitar solos, he’s scribbling down notes? He’s like, ‘Bring this to Halle, let’s see.'"

After a snippet of Halle Berry and Jimmy Kimmel's conversation was shared on the 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' Instagram account, viewers took to the comments section to share their thoughts. 

One wrote, "Lmaoooo I love how she’s keeping it VERY cute and short," and another said, "Well I mean she’s gorgeous of course he’d wanna ask her out."

"She’s the dream girl of course he did," remarked a viewer. "I would have went," stated a person. 

One more simply wrote, "She is so beautiful!" "She ages like fine 🍷 🔥," shared another person. 

"How she not say yes 🤪," asked an individual. 

Halle Berry is proud of being 'uninfluenced by the outside'

This interview came after the Oscar-winning actress spoke about her three divorces and their impact during a roundtable discussion after a private premiere of her new thriller, 'Never Let Go'.

She said, "We have to do things. Sometimes it’s we have to get a divorce, OK? Because it’s like, ‘I can’t stay here. I’m going to die if I stay here.’ And it’s happened to me three times," as per Today.com. 

Berry, mother of daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry, 16, and son Maceo-Robert Martinez, 10, also explained that she wants her children to understand the importance of "always daring to go my own way. Even if it seems like I’m going the wrong way, I always go my own way."

"I’m uninfluenced by the outside. I always have my own opinions, and I do what I want to do," added the 'Catwoman' star.
