Halle Berry reveals why she didn’t play Storm in 'Deadpool & Wolverine' despite Blake Lively’s proposal
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Halle Berry revealed that Blake Lively expressed interest in having her return as Storm from 'X-Men' in the new 'Deadpool & Wolverine' movie, but Ryan Reynolds did not extend the invitation.
In an interview with Comicbook, Berry, aged 58, disclosed that Lively, 36, had once approached her during a Marc Jacobs fashion show to inquire whether she would contemplate reprising her role as Storm for her husband's new movie.

Halle Berry stated that she would have accepted if the offer had been extended, but it seems Reynolds, 47, never made the proposal.
"Blake [Lively] asked me one time, I ran into her at a Marc Jacobs fashion show, and she said, 'Would you ever be in my husband's movie as Storm?' I said, 'Yeah, if he asked me,' but he never asked me," she said.
