KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI: Harrison Butker was spotted hanging out with conservative commentators Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly on the evening of Thursday, September 12.

The 29-year-old Kansas City Chiefs kicker, who earlier this year ignited a liberal backlash with his religious and political views, was present at Carlson's live show. The event, which took place at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, also featured special guest Kelly.

The Tucker Carlson Live Tour made a stop in Kansas City and after attending the local event, Harrison Butker proceeded backstage to engage with some prominent figures present there, including guest Megyn Kelly, as per the Daily Mail.

A photograph of Butker with the conservative group was uploaded on Carlson's Instagram and reshared on the NFL player's Instagram story.

This came just one day after Kelly delivered a scathing critique of Taylor Swift, who is dating Butker's Chiefs teammate, Travis Kelce.

The former Fox News host blasted Swift after the 34-year-old pop star endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris following her presidential debate with Donald Trump on Tuesday, September 10.

On her SiriusXM talk show, Kelly launched a tirade against Swift and Kelce.

"This pair, Taylor and her boyfriend Travis Kelce, are the epitomes of elite snobs,” Kelly said. She alleged that they didn't really care what happened to American children because they're too busy "jetting across the world" and "sitting in their mansions".

Kelly labeled Swift's statement endorsing Harris as "disgusting".

"You can kiss your sales to the Republican audience goodbye, Swift, hope you enjoyed them while you had them," Kelly added.

In a long Instagram post, Taylor Swift wrote, “I’m voting for Kamala Harris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.”

Swift mentioned she was “so heartened and impressed” by Harris’ decision to pick Tim Walz as a running mate as Walz has been for "standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman's right to her own body for decades".

Harrison Butker had sparked controversy with his personal views on women's and LGBTQ+ rights earlier this year.

A few months after aiding the Chiefs in securing another Super Bowl victory, he incited controversy by suggesting to the female graduates of Benedictine College that they ought to be more enthusiastic about becoming wives and mothers than about being successful professionals.

He subsequently reaffirmed the opinions he shared in his speech, standing firm on his stance as a devout Catholic.

He also faced backlash for his comments against the LGBTQ+ community and President Joe Biden regarding abortion views, culminating in a petition urging the Chiefs to remove him from their team, which garnered nearly 240,000 signatures.

Last month, he urged JD Vance, Trump's running mate, and indirectly the former president, to realign the Republican Party with its traditional stance on abortion.
