'He has matured': Charlie Sheen wants to be 'respected in Hollywood again' after years of being sober
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Charlie Sheen has reportedly been trying to rebrand himself after being sober for nearly six years.
The 58-year-old actor has a history of drug abuse and public outbursts.
He was also recently violently attacked by his 47-year-old woman neighbor, named Electra Schrock, which led to police intervention and booking her on the charges of assault with a deadly weapon and burglary.
Charlie Sheen ‘has enjoyed being away from the drama’
But now as per a source who told DailyMail.com, “Charlie is happy and not stressed out over the incident with his neighbor. He is confident with what the cops and court have done so far.”
They further shared, “Though it was court-ordered that she has to stay away from him, he will do anything the court recommends from this point on to have this be an afterthought.

“He has enjoyed being away from the drama the last few years and he wants 2024 to continue that.”
Charlie Sheen ‘would like to be respected in Hollywood again’
However, the ‘Two and a Half Men’ star has reportedly decided to work on himself and his career.
The tipster spilled, “Charlie is focused on his health and working more again and just righting a lot of wrongs he has made through the years.”
The mole disclosed, “He has matured and would like to be respected in Hollywood again. He doesn't want to be anyone's burden.
"He just hopes the next time he is in the news is because he did something great and not because of some random attack or outburst.”
“He is a brand-new Charlie and people will realize that hopefully sooner than later,” the source added.

Meanwhile, Sheen’s recent apparent desire to be seen as a new man attracted a lot of reactions online.
A Facebook user commented, “Make a new season of two and a half man. He’ll immediately get back all the respect he lost.”
Another user wrote, “Hollywood is a sinking ship, and Charlie Sheen contributed to much of its sinking.”
