LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kansas City has emerged as one of the most notable NFL venues in recent years.

Along with the city’s Kansas City Chiefs clinching the Super Bowl title for consecutive two years, it has also been witness to the brewing romance of the Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce with pop superstar Taylor Swift.

However, in the upcoming season, Arrowhead Stadium may witness the unfolding of the romance of another celebrity couple Kim Kardashian and her new beau Odell Beckham Jr.

If sources are to be believed, the 31-year-old NFL star is keen on signing with the Kansas City Chiefs in the upcoming season.

Sources reveal Odell Beckham Jr will sign with a new team soon

Beckham, who won the Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams in 2022, joined the Baltimore Ravens in the last season on a one-year contract.

However, as his one-year contract is over, Beckham is reportedly looking forward to signing with a reputed team.

Per Daily Mail, Beckham’s salary cap charge for 2024 is $3,977,000. While Beckham’s demand is on the higher side, as per sources many teams are unwilling to fulfill his high fee owing to his age and history of injuries.

Since the Chiefs plan to improve their receiving unit after struggling with it for the better part of the last season, Beckham might prove to be a fit. But this also means the possibility of Beckham’s girlfriend - Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift in the same building.

A source close to Beckham recently shared with Daily Mail, “Odell will sign with someone in the next few days,” before adding, “Though he would like to get a multi-year deal, some teams are apprehensive because he is very injury-prone and he might have to consider a two-year deal instead.”

The source continued, “Odell's wants are not meshing with teams right now and someone is going to have to break, and when it comes to the NFL, it's likely Odell will have to break and concede first.”

“Odell wants a huge contract that has tons of money behind it and years attached to it because this is his last chance to get a good contract and also likely his last contract in the NFL,” added the source commenting on the 31-year-old NFL star trying to secure a stable deal.

The tipster added, “But NFL teams know that while Odell is still a great player, they could get someone younger and cheaper. We will see in the next few days who is playing chess and who is playing checkers.”

“He wants to join Kansas City but taking the best contract with the most money is Odell's current thought process. Everyone wants to win, but money wins overall,” remarked the insider close to Beckham.

The source, however, sounded cautious, as they said, “Odell is going to have to dig in his heels a little longer than he originally expected as his ego outweighs the demand for his services.”

“He would love to sign with a team by this weekend but as originally thought to be the case, there are now a few bumps in the road as teams are spending money on other needs over an aging wide receiver with ACL issues and who is asking for too much money,” shared the insider.

The source concluded by sharing an insight into Odell’s psyche, as they revealed, “It is looking like this is turning out to be more of a soap opera than originally expected. Odell is getting frustrated with the process.”

Overcoming the hurdles, if Odell finally signs with the Kansas City Chiefs, that would increase the possibility of the ‘Lover’ singer and the ‘The Kardashians’ star supporting the same team.

The two stars have a history of a feud that started in 2016 when the SKIMS founder’s ex-husband Kanye West released his song ‘Famous’ which had a nasty reference to Swift.

As the song was released, the 14-time Grammy-winning singer did not like the way she was addressed. Kardashian, on the other hand, went on to defend her then-husband which later fueled the animosity between the two stars.
