In a discussion with Walsh, Ben Shapiro, Jeremy Boreing, Michael Knowles, and Andrew Klavan, Candace Owens expressed her disapproval of Taylor Swift.
She criticized Swift's habit of writing songs about her ex-partners and her public struggle to reclaim her music rights from Scooter Braun, who acquired Swift’s music catalog after buying Big Machine Label Group in 2019.
"Obviously, if you’ve seen what she's even done in business and how she tries to manipulate her audiences to get out of deals and contracts, she's totally insane. She’s the most toxic feminist that’s ever existed," she stated.
Owens labeled Swift's songs about her former partners as "psychotic" and brushed off her ongoing relationship with Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs' tight end, as a strategic "business move" for both of them.
Owens also criticized the pop star's 2014 remarks about Lena Dunham, the actress from 'Girls'.
"She literally said, 'Lena Dunham taught me feminism, which basically means that you can get whatever you want as long as you're able to sell to people that you're a victim because you're a woman. And she has done it to the tune of a billion dollars," mentioned the 34-year-old.
The label of "most toxic feminist" seemed to be a "high bar" for Walsh, who could only partially concur with Owens' impassioned declaration, per Mediaite.
