Internet agrees with Megyn Kelly as she slams Meghan Markle for claiming to be 'feminist' on new website
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Meghan Markle's feminist credentials are being called into question. The Duchess of Sussex proclaimed herself "a feminist and champion of human rights" on the new website she shares with Prince Harry, Sussex.com.
But both the website's claims and Markle herself were swiftly met with criticism from journalist Megyn Kelly, columnist Maureen Callahan, and commentators across social media who argue the Duchess' actions contradict her statements, as per Daily Mail.
Megyn Kelly argues Meghan Markle is not the feminist she claims to be
Markle recently came under fire from Kelly who argues her actions show she is not the feminist she claims to be. "The amount of staff she has chased out, all women. Her tantrums, her tirades. How is that in anyway a feminist trying to lift up the young women? She wants us to believe that she would never and she only lifts up the young women," Kelly said on her show.
Kelly was joined by Daily Mail's Callahan who agreed, arguing if Markle was a feminist, "she would show reverence and true appreciation for the Queen." Instead, Callahan said, "We got that deep mocking curtesy on the Netflix special that just oozed contempt and ridicule."

The recenly-launched website, Sussex.com, describes Markle being "a feminist and champion of human rights" who remains dedicated to "advocacy for women and girls." The minimalist website features a large photo of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on the homepage.
"The Office of Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex is shaping the future through business and philanthropy," the 'About' section reads.
It highlights Markle’s career as an actress and author of the children’s book 'The Bench', as well as the couple's community relief efforts. There is also a 'News' section where they will share personal and official updates. The launch sparked controversy over their continued use of the 'Sussex' titles after stepping back from royal duties.
