Royal butler Paul Burrell advises Prince Harry not to criticize The Firm in Megan Markle's memoir
LONDON, CALIFORNIA: In the wake of Prince Harry's recent comments about his sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, former royal butler Paul Burrell issues a stern warning.
Burrell, who served Princess Diana, predicts that Meghan Markle, Harry's wife, is preparing to write an 'explosive' memoir similar to Harry's own memoir, 'Spare'.
Royal expert advises Prince Harry to exercise caution in criticizing royal family
Burrell believes it's 'inevitable' for Meghan to share her side of the story, emphasizing her absence from Harry's memoir. He anticipates her perspective will provide insights into her experiences and challenges from a woman's viewpoint.
Paul exclusively told The Post, “I am waiting for Meghan to release her own memoir. “(She) is inevitably going to write her side of the story because of how absent she was from ‘Spare', and that is because she is penning her memoir and telling it from a woman’s perspective.”
According to Paul, the royal family should 'watch out' for the 'explosion' brought about by the rumoured memoir of the former 'Suits' actress.
According to Paul, there is “going to be another bomb in the House of Windsor” as he revealed “another explosion will go off when we find out that she is going to publish, and she will.”
He added, “There is no way she is going to stay quiet. She is going to want her side of the story out there and that will do even further damage to the royal family and rock them even more.”
Paul explained, “I understand why they are upset, because Kate went to great lengths to find out if a royal life was for her and it caused her issues, but they both worked it out and she committed herself to a life of public service.”
Paul added, “This wasn’t a case of fitting the mould, it’s a case of finding the right person to do the job. Harry has got a nerve to say that because his mother was pressured into an arranged marriage and made to fit the mould.”
Paul Burrell offers a cautionary perspective. Burrell characterizes Prince Harry as "not always the sharpest tool in the box," and advises him to refrain from criticizing Kate Middleton and Prince William.
The former butler also said, “He has to be careful about attacking the royal family. Meghan and Harry have forgotten their only unique selling point is being royal, so why are they trying to destroy the institution? It doesn’t make sense.”
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry returned wedding gifts following royal protocol
Despite their lavish 2018 wedding, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have reportedly returned gifts worth $8.9 million to comply with royal protocol. Palace aides enforced the return to prevent any potential obligations or appearances of leveraging the royal couple for publicity.
Official guidelines dictate that members of the royal family should not accept gifts, including hospitality or services, that create any form of obligation to the donor. The return of gifts is in line with this fundamental principle.
Although the couple had to relinquish the expensive offerings, they directed attendees to donate to various charities, including HIVA, Crisis, Myna Mahalia Foundation, Scotty’s Little Soldiers, StreetGames, Surfers Against Sewage, and The Wilderness Foundation UK.
During the wedding reception, Meghan Markle emotionally shared a story about their union, describing their love story as a 'modern fairytale'.
