LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ben Affleck has experienced a lot of ups and downs in his romantic life, but on some level, it all appears too familiar to the popular comic book character, Archie Andrews.

An X (formerly Twitter) user brought attention to the striking resemblance and shared a post from the New York Post that showed Affleck embracing his ex-wife Jennifer Garner during their Thanksgiving meal with their family.

The Post's caption read: "Ben Affleck cozies up to ex-wife Jennifer Garner on Thanksgiving amid Jennifer Lopez divorce: ‘He’s very happy’."

The X user reposted the article, explaining, "Constantly juggling a beautiful diva, a kindhearted girl-next-door, and a sexually tense male friendship… none of us could ever understand an archie comic the way he does."

The 'Gone Girl' star's personal life has long been the topic of headlines and gossip columns with the recent one when he was recently spotted giving his ex-wife Garner a hug at their family's Thanksgiving meal.

The user on X compared Affleck, 52, to Archie, his estranged wife Jennifer Lopez to the "beautiful diva" Veronica Lodge, and Garner to the "kindhearted girl next door" or Betty Cooper from Archies comics.

Following two years of marriage, Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck in August. They initially began dating and later became engaged in 2002. Two years later, they called off their engagement and split up, only to start dating again in 2021.

Garner, 52, has been compared to the "kindhearted girl next door" Betty Cooper in Affleck's life. They started dating in 2004, got married in 2005, and divorced in 2018. They share three children: Violet, 18, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12.

According to recent reports, Affleck appears to be getting closer to Garner once more since splitting from Lopez. So much so, that the former couple got back together to assist in feeding 2,000 homeless people at the nonprofit's annual Thanksgiving brunch.

Affleck appeared at ease with Garner in the pictures obtained by The Post. 'The Accountant' actor was seen grinning and even whispering in her ear in a photo amid the ongoing tense divorce from Lopez.

The Jughead Jones in the equation, or the "sexually male tense friendship," refers to Affleck's longtime best friend, fellow actor Matt Damon.

The 1997 film 'Good Will Hunting' gave the two their big break in Hollywood and won both Academy Awards for Best Original Screenplay.

Several X users flocked to the comment section to agree that Affleck is Hollywood's new Archie Andrews as one wrote, "Archie Andrews ain't got nuthin' on Ben Affleck."
