WASHINGTON, DC: Former President Donald Trump, in a Truth Social tirade, lashed out at his former employees and White House aides who are now badmouthing him on television.

The GOP presumptive nominee apparently redirected his anger toward the people who once worked under his presidency in light of the gag order that stopped him from attacking potential witnesses in the ongoing hush money trial against him.

Former Homeland Security official Miles Taylor and retired four-star Marine general John Kelly, Trump's former chief of staff are the latest victims of Trump's fury, besides other unnamed ex-aides, according to Raw Story.

What did Trump say on Truth Social?

Trump, who is the first former president to go to a criminal trial, lashed out on Truth Social on Sunday, April 21, by mentioning some news outlets on which his ex-employees turned opponents currently appear.

"So many lightweights and fakes go on MSNBC & CNN, along with other ratings challenged networks and platforms, purporting to know me as though they were a long lost relative, only to have virtually no knowledge of me, or anything about me," the former president fumed.

"A weak and pathetic RINO named Miles Taylor, who worked with one of the dumber Generals around, John Kelly, speaks as though he has intimate knowledge of everything Trump. Other than seeing him on TV, I have no idea, from the Administration days, who the hell he is."

In July 2023, Tyler claimed that his home was broken into after he published an "Anonymous" op-ed severely critiquing Trump's presidency.

"I assume a con man because he gets paid for talking about a subject he knows nothing about, ME. But that doesn't matter to NBC, to me one of the worst news organizations in the world," Trump argued.

Indicating he might announce names of other former aides who do the same, he said, "There are many other of these phonies as well, and I'll let you all know who they are as soon as I get a chance. TRUTH!"

In a recent interview with MSNBC's 'Morning Joe,' Taylor claimed that if Trump is re-elected to the White House, he would appoint cabinet members who would echo his stance and carry out his agenda without any pushback, according to Newsweek.

Similarly, Kelly also turned into his former boss's enemy when he confirmed that Trump made disparaging comments about fallen American soldiers as "suckers" and "losers" during his visit to Arlington National Cemetery in 2017, as per CNN.

Many ex-employees, including Mark Esper and Alyssa Farah Griffin, have turned against the ex-president, denouncing his presidential race for a second term. In addition, former Vice President Mike Pence, who drifted away from Trump after the January 6, 2021, Capitol attack, also announced he would not endorse him for the 2024 race.

Internet mocks Trump

Netizens mocked Trump's rant, pointing fingers at his past remarks bragging about hiring the brightest people.

One user wrote, "He hires only the brightest. He is about to go to jail."

"You learn more by watching how a person conducts themselves in a crises, how selfless they are, how intelligent their decisions are, and how much respect the people they had the opportunity to lead in the past, view them. You, Sir, fail in every area," another person remarked.

A third user said, "Somebody give him a bottle and put him to bed. He's cranky." A fourth response read, "Donnie you always sound soooo jealous when you whine."

"The only individual on this planet who insults everyone who disagrees with him, who threatens people, who lies to and deceives everyone who crosses his path, whines about injustice? another added.

Someone else wrote, "His skin is so thin it should be transparent." Meanwhile, one remark read, "But he hired the best people!"

"Well...he picked them. I guess he's got a case of buyer's remorse," an individual quipped.
