Hugh Grant recounts getting 'absolutely smashed' with Travis Kelce during wild night on Eras Tour

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hugh Grant has recounted his experience at one of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour shows in London over the summer, which he attended alongside Travis Kelce.

The ‘Love Actually’ star was reportedly present at one of Swift’s shows in June with his daughter, but spent most of the time with the pop star’s boyfriend.

He disclosed to NME while promoting his new film ‘Heretic’ that his daughter is a Swiftie.

Hugh Grant ‘thoroughly enjoyed’ Taylor Swift’s concert

Hugh Grant shared, “It’s my daughter who’s mad about Taylor Swift. I’m an amazing dad. I’m an amazing person. I put out some feelers and to my astonishment they said ‘come along’ and I thoroughly enjoyed it.”

“She went mad, my daughter. She brought a friend and they were bopping away and I hung out with Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, who’s an American football player,” the ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’ actor said.

He also revealed that they “did Tequila shots at the back of this kind of hut in the middle of Wembley – and there were a bunch of, I think they were, rappers. I dunno what they were, anyway we all got absolutely smashed on Tequila.”

Hugh Grant had even shared a tweet after attending the concert.

He wrote, “Dear @taylorswift13 , You have an incredible show, an amazing and v hospitable team and excellent if gigantic boyfriend (#tequilashots.). Thanks so much from one aging London boy, wife and thrilled 8 year old #halfgirlhalfbracelet.”

The Grammy winner replied, “As a long time Hugh Grant stan this tweet is very important to my culture.”

Grant also talked about singing Radiohead’s ‘Creep’ in ‘Heretic’.

He admitted that he did not “do it very well. I think it’s a very difficult song to sing. I researched it a bit and they kind of hate it.”

“One of them sketched it off, they recorded it and they never really bothered to put on proper lyrics [that] they liked. Everyone went mad for it and called for it at every Radiohead concert. Very difficult to sing. I didn’t crack that one,” the ‘Bridget Jones Diary’ actor added.

Travis Kelce watched ‘Notting Hill’ after meeting Hugh Grant

Meanwhile, Kelce also spoke about his experience with Grant during an episode of his ‘New Heights’ podcast, as reported by Page Six.

The football tight end revealed he watched ‘Notting Hill’ after meeting the actor. He added, “I like watching films with people that I’ve met and I know. I enjoyed it. That one is a classic.”
