LONDON, ENGLAND: Sharon Osbourne expressed frustration over facing difficulties in finding work in the United States, attributing it to accusations of racism leveled against her.

During her appearance on 'Celebrity Big Brother' in the United Kingdom, Osbourne discussed the aftermath of the backlash she received following allegations of racist behavior on 'The Talk' with her fellow housemates.

Osbourne indicated that despite being legally allowed to work in the US, she is encountering challenges in securing employment because of the accusations of racism against her.

“I got banned in America,” Osbourne said to her co-stars Lauren Simon and Louis Walsh (via Yahoo!). “I did nothing wrong.”

Simon inquired of Osbourne whether she was authorized to work in the US, to which the Osbournes star replied, "I can legally... but nobody will employ me because they say I am racist."

Simon noted that Osbourne is Jewish, to which she retorted, "I know, and that’s what I said to them!"

“They think we don’t know what it’s like to be picked on,” Osbourne continued. “I wouldn’t pick on anyone because of their race or religion, ever.”

The controversy surrounding Osbourne arose from her support of Piers Morgan in March 2021, following his remarks questioning the authenticity of Meghan Markle's statements about mental health during her interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Osbourne's support for Morgan sparked an on-air confrontation with her co-host Sheryl Underwood, where Osbourne was accused of enabling racist rhetoric.

Allegations of racist and homophobic behavior behind the scenes of 'The Talk' prompted Osbourne's departure from the show.

CBS issued a statement addressing the situation, expressing concerns about Osbourne's conduct not aligning with the network's values for a respectful workplace.

Amidst ongoing controversy, Sharon Osbourne, former co-host of 'The Talk,' faces public backlash as she voices difficulty in securing employment opportunities in the United States.

One user's blunt response highlighted Osbourne's age and wealth, suggesting, "You’re 71 with a net worth of $440M F**k off and retire instead of whining about how you can’t get a job."

Another user criticized Osbourne's personality, labeling her, "She’s unpleasant and shrill. She should’ve never been famous to begin with." [sic]

Others pointed out Osbourne's longstanding association with her husband Ozzy Osbourne's fame and suggested, "Luv you've been riding ozzys coat tails for decades, did you think it would last forever? Just retire I'm sure you've got enough." [sic]

The other user wrote, "Racist is only part of the reason. You’re vile is the other part. Plus bring nothing to the table."
