Inside Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's decision to sell $61M mansion amid marriage troubles
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have discreetly listed their Beverly Hills mansion for sale months after moving in together.
Sources reveal that both stars are dissatisfied with the $61 million property. "Ben never liked the house. It's too far away from his kids," an insider shared. For Lopez, the issue is different; she finds the mansion excessively large for her needs.
"The house is way too big for her," says the source.

The couple's representatives are yet to comment on the decision, which was first reported by TMZ on June 8. The Wall Street Journal noted that Lopez and Affleck purchased the sprawling 38,000-square-foot home in the spring of 2023, shortly after their marriage in July 2022.
The mansion sits on five acres and features 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, a 12-car garage, a pool, and a sports complex with basketball and pickleball facilities, a gym, and a boxing ring.
Despite the luxurious amenities, Affleck has been residing in a rental home nearby while filming 'The Accountant 2.'
Meanwhile, Lopez has remained in their marital home, fueling rumors about the state of their marriage. The couple was last seen together at Affleck’s 12-year-old son Samuel's basketball game on June 2. Lopez was later spotted alone at Giorgio Baldi on June 8, still wearing her wedding and engagement rings.
A source close to Lopez told PEOPLE, “They’re still friendly and see each other every few days.”
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have announced they are putting their home on the market, just over a week after Lopez revealed on Friday, May 31, that she is canceling her This Is Me... Live tour.
In a statement posted on her OntheJLo website, the singer explained that she is "taking time off to be with her children, family, and close friends" instead of embarking on a North American tour this summer.
"I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down," Lopez wrote in that statement. "Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary."
Jennifer Lopez cancels tour to focus on family
Pop icon Jennifer Lopez has canceled her highly anticipated North American tour just weeks before it was set to kick off. Announced on May 31 through her OntheJLo website, the cancellation has left fans and the singer herself deeply saddened. According to a source close to Lopez, the decision, although heartbreaking, was necessary.
"Life is a lot right now. As sad as she was to cancel the tour, she’s also relieved. She needs to take care of herself," the source told PEOPLE. The insider added that Lopez's team encouraged her to prioritize her well-being and family. "Everyone is supportive of her focusing on family right now."
The This Is Me... Live tour, set to begin on June 26 in Orlando, Florida, and cover major cities like Austin, Dallas, Las Vegas, Miami, Toronto, New York City, and Boston, would have been Lopez's first tour since her 2019 It's My Party Tour.
She reassured her fans, promising, "I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time."
Alongside the professional decision to cancel the tour, Lopez's personal life is reportedly facing challenges. The same source mentioned that her marriage with actor Ben Affleck is "not in the best place at the moment."
