WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump's adviser, Sergio Gor, has been blamed for fanning the flames of his fiery feud with tech billionaire Elon Musk.

Sources inside or close to the White House informed the New York Post that Gor was behind the commander-in-chief's decision to yank the nomination of Musk’s personal friend, Jared Isaacman, to be NASA administrator, that turned a disagreement on legislation into a firestorm of insults.

Insiders claim Sergio Gor bragged he was going to get 'one last shot at Elon out the door'

Jared Isaacman’s donations to Democrats, that consisted of $100,000 in 2021 to a PAC linked to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, would disqualify most nominees under Sergio Gor’s standard vetting process, according to the outlet.

However, Isaacman wasn’t removed by Trump until hours after Musk left his role as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), at Gor’s urging.

Interestingly, Musk and Gor didn't like each other even before Trump became president for the second time.

The SpaceX CEO described Gor as "sleazy" during the transition and also questioned his staffing picks.

During a March 6 Cabinet meeting, Musk "humiliated" him by slamming the pace of staffing the administration, sources who interacted closely with Gor revealed.

"He was bragging to other people that he was going to get one last shot at Elon out the door. He was going to get Elon back for making him look bad," an insider said.

The source added, "Elon was always telling the President ‘Sergio’s not moving fast enough to hire people. He’s not the right guy for the job.’ In front of the entire Cabinet, he said that. It’s not just humiliating, but the president starts looking at him like, ‘Why aren’t you doing your f*****g job?’"

Meanwhile, a different source said, "Sergio was upset about Elon dressing him down at the meeting and said he was going to ‘get him’. [Isaacman’s nomination being pulled] was the modern-day equivalent of the assassination of Franz Ferdinand. Sure, Sergio got a scalp, but what did [Trump] get?"

Sources say Sergio Gor celebrated as Tesla stock nosedived

Moreover, three sources said Sergio Gor’s personal dislike of Musk was seen by his periodic celebrations when Tesla’s stock fell.

"He’d go around showing Tesla stock prices going down and laugh about it, like he was responsible for taking the Tesla stock down," an insider revealed.

The source added that Gor would "randomly" bring up the topic inside the West Wing and the Oval Office, and called up the "Stocks" app on his phone whenever an uncomplimentary story about the mogul emerged.

A source told the New York Post that they heard from Gor repeatedly when Tesla stock tumbled, and added that the Trump adviser would text screenshots of the Wall Street thumping to friends.

Meanwhile, another source described two text messages that they got from Gor where he mocked Tesla’s share price fluctuation, per the outlet.

"Elon was, like, his obsession, and he would plant a story on Elon and he would send me the link and then send me a screenshot of Tesla’s stock price with a laughing face. I own Tesla stock, so this is not a good thing for me!" the insider said.

The source added, "It showed how intense that fight had become, and how committed and obsessed with it Sergio was, and that’s what I don’t think anybody has really captured."

The insider added that Gor sent a New York Times article describing how Cabinet secretaries had aired concerns about Musk’s DOGE, shortly after the March 6 meeting, according to the New York Post.

They further mentioned that Gor "screenshotted a graph of the stock and showed it red" along with a link to the Times article.

The insider added that Gor also mocked when Trump publicly bought a Tesla from Musk on the White House driveway on March 11.

"Sergio was making fun of it. He sent this image of it from the TV, and it showed Elon standing there with Trump, and the way he captured the picture made Elon look like he’s sad … and then he sends the stock price screenshot behind it, as if to say … that [Musk has] basically got to go out to try to get the president to pitch his cars to people, because of the stock price," they claimed.

However, Gor denied to the New York Post that he ever wanted revenge with Musk, and added that claims he openly rejoiced at Tesla stock falling were also not true.

He said in a statement, "I fully support President Donald Trump’s decision to remove this nominee. Those who actively supported Democrats in the last cycle have no place in this administration. This was never about Elon, it’s about someone who doesn’t agree with America First Principles."
