ATLANTA, GEORGIA: In a riveting turn of events within the ongoing legal saga gripping Fulton County, a bombshell revelation surfaced on Friday, February 16, during the testimony of Terrence Bradley, former law partner of Nathan Wade, at District Attorney Fani Willis' hearing.

Bradley, who previously represented the now embattled Georgia attorney during his divorce proceedings, confessed to departing from a law firm where he worked alongside Wade due to allegations of sexual assault. The stunning admission, brought to light during intense questioning by state attorney Anna Cross, sent shockwaves through the courtroom.

While vehemently denying the assault claims, Bradley indirectly implied that he had provided financial compensation to the staffer who had levied the allegations.

The revelation not only cast doubt on his previous assertions regarding attorney-client privilege but also raised questions about his involvement in the unfolding legal drama, as per the New York Post.

Judge Scott McAfee, presiding over the proceedings, expressed skepticism regarding Bradley's claims of privilege, remarking, "Mr Bradley previously testified that the reason he left the firm was totally and completely covered by privilege. When asked by the state, he went into a factual scenario that, to my mind, I don’t see how it relates to privilege at all."

He added, "And so now I'm left wondering if Mr Bradley has been properly interpreting privilege this entire time."

The judge scheduled a closed-door hearing with Bradley to delve deeper into matters of privilege surrounding his testimony.

Social media was inundated with reactions after the assault allegations against Bradley emerged during the Willis-Wade hearing.

One said, "Flew too close to the sun," and another remarked, "I can see Fulton County, Georgia did not hire the best nor the brightest."

A person quipped, "This just gets better every day. Put Fani back on the stand. It's great fun," while someone else alleged, "Bradley did everything he could to keep things about Fani’s relationship hidden behind privilege, and Fani’s team returned the favor by backstabbing him on the stand," another alleged.

Both Nathan Wade and Fani Willis assert that their romantic relationship ended in the summer of 2023

During the two-day hearing, Willis and special prosecutor Wade faced probing questions regarding their relationship, particularly its implications for the Fulton County DA's ability to proceed in the election fraud case brought against former President Donald Trump and others.

The special prosecutor's testimony on Thursday revealed that his supposed romantic involvement with Willis ceased in the summer of 2023.

"Have you had a personal relationship at all, and you know what I mean by that, after the summer of 2023," asked Trump lawyer Steve Saddow to Wade, who responded, "Are you asking me if I had intercourse with the district attorney? The answer would be no."

According to the special prosecutor, he and Willis remain "very good friends" and are "probably closer than ever because of these attacks." However, he added, "But if you're asking me about specific intercourse, the answer is no."

Echoing Wade's account, Willis stated that they officially ended their relationship around August of 2023.

Attorney Ashleigh Merchant had filed a motion on behalf of GOP political operative Mike Roman calling for Willis' disqualification from the election fraud case, alleging that she had engaged in a romantic relationship with Wade while he was still married.

Furthermore, the lawyer asserted that the Fulton County DA had benefited financially from hiring Wade, claiming he funded extravagant trips with his legal fees from the case.

As the legal proceedings continue, it's on Judge McAfee to determine whether Willis and the Fulton County DA's office should be disqualified from the election fraud case due to a conflict of interest.
