NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: In a bold and unconventional marketing move, the streets of New York City were taken over by a gigantic inflatable replica of rising rap star Ice Spice on Saturday, April 7, as reported by Complex.

The installation was part of a promotional campaign for the rapper's newly launched collaboration with fashion designer Alexander Wang. As the massive inflatable Ice Spice made its way through the city's iconic avenues, it led to social media frenzy.

Ice Spice's collaboration with Alexander Wang draws inspiration from shared New York roots

The 'Nocturna' collection, which debuted on March 7, draws inspiration from the shared New York roots and personal styles of Ice Spice and Wang.

Described as a fusion of denim dresses, chic tailored pants, and other contemporary pieces, the collection ranges in price from $150 to $1,495, catering to a diverse audience.



 

 

Speaking about the collaboration, Ice Spice expressed her enthusiasm, stating, "As an artist, I'm always challenging myself on how I can contribute to culture in a way that drives things forward, and Alexander Wang is a great vehicle for that, with this incredibly bold and global campaign."
