Internet backs Joe Rogan as he slams right-wing conspiracy claiming Biden has mask-wearing body double
WASHINGTON, DC: The discussion of conspiracy theories is a familiar topic on comedian Joe Rogan's podcast.
However, fellow podcaster Patrick Bet-David raised a new conspiracy theory involving President Joe Biden, which Joe Rogan found to be too extreme, according to Mediaite.
During an episode of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ podcast, Joe Rogan, along with author and former Navy SEAL Jack Carr, talked about a script Rogan had written about a wolf.
This discussion reminded Rogan of a conspiracy theory suggesting that the POTUS has been replaced by a body double wearing a mask.
What did Joe Rogan say about the Joe Biden body double conspiracy theory
Rogan told Carr about Patrick Bet-David’s newfound obsession, “He thinks it’s not really Biden, that it’s someone pretending to be Biden who has a mask on because he was talking very clearly.”
Last week on his show, Patrick Bet-David discussed the Biden mask conspiracy theory, where the host compared different videos of the 81-year-old incumbent president and pointed out that in one video, Joe Biden appears far clearer than in the others.
The conversation then shifted to reviews of videos about the CIA and "human masks" similar to those that were shown in the ‘Mission: Impossible’ movie franchise.
Joe Rogan immediately dismissed the conspiracy theory as ridiculous, stating that conspiracy theorists are pointing out Biden's "skin color" when it's clearly the lights during the interview affecting his skin tone.
However, Rogan did mention that it's "clear" President Joe Biden got a "facelift."
“The shadows to me look like studio lighting where you have multiple cameras, you have multiple lights coming from a bunch of different angles… that’s why it looks weird,” Rogan claimed.
“It does look odd,” Carr concurred.
Rogan went on to explain that he wasn't opposed to every component of the conspiracy theory, but it was too far-fetched, even for him.
The 56-year-old argued that a human mask could be feasible, but changing the president’s voice would likely require AI and too many people to keep such an undertaking under wraps.
“That requires so many people to be in on it, including the person being interviewed, the person interviewing Biden, all the people who are watching,” Rogan argued. “There’s a lot of loose ends there.”
“That’s where a lot of these things fall apart,” Carr replied.
Rogan remarked, “In that case, that’s a lot of loose ends, especially, like, camera guys and a lot of hard-working folks, probably a lot of fucking Republicans… people talk, especially something like that.”
“Benjamin Franklin said three people can keep a secret if two of them are dead,” Carr added in jest. “There’s something to that.”
Internet sides with comedian Joe Rogan as he dismiss Biden body double conspiracy theory
People online agreed with the 56-year-old comedian as he dismissed the conspiracy theory surrounding President Joe Biden which alleges that a face mask-wearing body double is "pretending to be Biden."
One person remarked, "in the minds of simpletons everything is a conspiracy."
Another person commented, "One of the biggest problems in America is the dumbest of people have large microphones nowadays. There is one thing being cynical to questioning some things, but another when you go into crazy nonsense like this. It's like people who think the moon landing is fake while an AI pic of Trump marching with black people is real. It's getting that dumb."
A person quipped, "When a guy who took horse deworming medicine to try and cure a human respiratory virus calls you st*pid, you know you've lost." [sic]
One person said, "No matter how stupid something sounds, republicans will believe it." Another person wrote, "You know this conspiracy theory is insane when you lose a person like Joe."
Finally, this person claimed, "Making MAGAts cry isn't a crime. In fact, it's a patriotic duty."
