Internet in awe as Mar-a-Lago pic of Mel Gibson, Michael Flynn and Kid Rock goes viral: 'What a trio!'

PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: President-elect Donald Trump hosted a star-studded fundraiser at his Mar-a-Lago resort on Tuesday, December 10, which was attented by a mix of conservative commentators, celebrities, and political figures, reported The Express Tribune.

While the event grabbed many eyeballs, a particular photograph of the the organizer, Lt Gen Michael Flynn, and guests Mel Gibson and Kid Rock, became viral on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), with netizens noting how remarkable they appeared.

According to the publication, the Tuesday evening event was a celebration of conservative cultural and political icons of the United States, and was set up for the benefit of the America’s Future political action committee (PAC).

Former Fox News anchor and far-right commentator Tucker Carlson was awarded the “Champion of America” honor, alongside Kid Rock. Gibson was also honored at the event, and created an uproar online with his fear-mongering, as he shared what would drive him to commit murder.

Talking about the organizer Flynn and his sister's efforts to combat human trafficking, the actor stated, "I've got nine kids. I don't know, if one of them got stolen or trafficked or something, I'd have to kill someone."

"The president’s got a big job on his hands to turn this place around. A lot of damage has been done and they continue to start fires, just like around my house," he later added, according to the Daily Mail.
