WASHINGTON, DC: Representative Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) sharply criticized Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) during her appearance on the 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' show on Thursday, June 20.

During the interview, the Texas Congresswoman told host Jimmy Kimmel that she would “be hard-pressed to find someone dumber” in the House than the Georgia Representative, according to The Hill.

In May, Greene and Crockett clashed publicly during a late-night House hearing.

On the late-night show, Kimmel asks Crockett if Greene is “the dumbest person in the House of Representatives," she responded saying, “I’d be hard-pressed to find someone dumber."

Citing Greene's behavior during the hearing as evidence of her lack of understanding and intellect, Crockett expressed her frustration with the way the hearing had unfolded, particularly Greene's diversion from the agenda.

Speaking about the hearing, Crockett told Kimmel, “And the hearing was supposed to be about the AG, right?”

Referring to Judge Juan Merchan who presided over Donald Trump's hush money criminal trial in New York, Crockett said, “So, we’re supposed to be talking about AG Merrick Garland. And she starts talking about Judge [Juan] Merchan."

Describing the chaotic scene, Crockett mentioned that the hearing took place late at night after a long day at work.

Greene's remarks about the former president's criminal trial, which Crockett referred to as a "failed trial," only added to her frustration.

“So, now I’m upset ‘cause it’s already late at night, [I’ve] been here all day, ready to work, y’all aren’t here. And you’re still talking about that failed trial. So, I had to ask her if she understood, ‘cause she’s not the brightest," she added.

Internet criticizes Jasmine Crockett calling Marjorie Taylor Greene 'dumb'

Reacting to Crockett stating that she would be "hard-pressed to find someone dumber" than Greene, one user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, "Self awareness isn't Rep Crockett's strong suit."

"Irony is off the charts here," a netizen commented while another user tweeted, "I can't believe she doesn't have any mirrors in her home."

One user wrote, "All she needs is an echo chamber lol" and a netizen tweeted, "Would love to see a debate between them."

"Well then I’m going to have to vote for MTG just to piss Jasmine off," a user wrote while another user wrote, "Perhaps you should check your privilege and mirror."
