'Obnoxiously dumb': Marjorie Taylor Greene slammed for claiming to uncover Bidens' shady dealing with Chinese President Xi Jinping

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene shared the update of the House Oversight Committee hearing for the impeachment of President Joe Biden on Wednesday, March 20, on X (formerly Twitter).

The Georgia GOP leader claimed that Hunter Biden went into the oil business with China by leveraging his father's position and that the President put policies in place that allowed China and Russia to make a fortune in the industry.

The US Representative for Georgia shared a clip on X where she called out Hunter for not showing up at the public hearing which she claimed that he wanted.

"But his former business partners did ... We revealed extremely important information," she continued, before adding, "The most important thing you need to know is in 2016, Joe Biden told the press ... he is running for president in 2020."

"Fast forward to 2017, Hunter Biden then goes and pursues a business deal with the top officials in China. As a matter of fact, the number one ... was Xi Jinping, the President of China, the leader of the Communist Party of China. This is extremely serious..," Greene said.

"Now that Joe Biden is President of the United States, we have a historical advantage to look at what he has done. (His) policies have been to destroy America's energy, specifically the oil industry. Yet (it) is where China has made fortunes. So has Russia," stated Greene.

"This is all because Joe Biden is the 'brand.' Joe Biden is the service that Hunter Biden sells to the world," she added while calling for the President's impeachment.

Greene reiterated key points of her message in the caption of the post and wrote, "Joe Biden said he was running for president in 2016. Everyone knew and China knew. Joe Biden and Hunter went into business in the oil industry with China in 2017."

"Joe Biden became President of the United States and destroyed our oil energy industry and put sanctions on Russia. China and Russia have made a fortune since then in the oil industry and America has become weak. All of this has been planned and executed. Biden Inc delivers for China and Russia and whoever they are in business with," she concluded.

Internet slams Marjorie Taylor Greene for her claims about Bidens

Marjorie Taylor Greene's vague conjectures, however, did not find many buyers on the internet as netizens slammed her for continuing to harp on unfounded accusations.

"I really do not understand how you can keep a straight face with all the lies and unfounded accusations. You have done nothing for America, Georgia. You are TRUMP stooge. No one respects you or support you," one social media user replied to her tweet.

"Come on Marge! US is producing more oil now than ever before. Sanctions were put on Russia because of their invasion on Ukraine which all of you supported. Big Oil is making huge profits and we are exporting at a greater rate meaning we are more energy independent than ever, even under Trump," wrote another.

"Marj sweetie you look exhausted from all the lying and clownish behavior," jibed one person.

"Half the time, MTG does not know what she is talking about, and the other half, she lies," quipped one individual.
