WASHINGTON, DC: Vice President JD Vance's recent appearance on Fox News 'Hannity' on Thursday, November 14, made headlines not just for his statements but also for his appearance.

The VP had a frozen-face appearance on Thursday as he appeared on Fox News to discuss the end of the longest-ever government shutdown and slam the Democrats.

JD Vance discusses re-opening of the government

During the Fox News interview, JD Vance told Sean Hannity, "Here's what the Democrats actually accomplished: They caused a lot of stress for our troops, they made our air traffic controllers not get paid, they caused a lot of flight cancellations, they had a lot of people thinking they weren't gonna get their food benefits, all for literally nothing."

The VP also added, "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

"And at the same time, we weren't building enough new houses to begin with, even with the population that we have," Vance mentioned.

During the entire segment, Vance appeared to have a seemingly wrinkle-free face. His surprisingly expressionless appearance raised many eyebrows as many internet users chimed in with their thoughts.

Internet reacts to JD Vance's appearance

People on the internet chimed in, and many believed that the changes visible on JD Vance's face were because he had done Botox.

A user wrote on X, "His face literally isn’t moving. Botox overload" while one added, "Just saw a video of JD vance... why is nobody commenting on the BOTOX."

A person also stated, "JD Vance gets Botox and wears eyeliner" whereas one mentioned, "I was wondering when people were going to start noticing the yasssification of JD Vance. Tan, Botox, weight loss, filler."

A user also wrote, "I see JD Vance got some Botox and a fake tan" while one commented, "Does JD Vance have botox?"

A person also added, "He looks like he’s wearing a flesh colored Batman mask."

JD Vance's past criticism for his appearance

This is not the first time JD Vance has been on the receiving end for his looks. In October 2024, the Vice President was seen with blue eyes during the Vice Presidential debate with the then-Democratic running mate Tim Walz.

Moreover, his eyes were compared with Miley Cyrus' eyes in social media posts.

Even though the two talked about some serious matters, people were more attracted and were hooked on the screen because of Vance's blue eyes which looked different than usual.

Elizabeth Panciotti, director at Roosevelt Institute, posted a graphic showing how much Google searches for 'eyeliner' had increased during the debate.
