Taylor Swift thanks fans for historic Grammy nominations at Toronto Eras Tour: 'It is unbelievable'
TORONTO, ONTARIO: Taylor Swift, who recently received six nominations for the 2025 Grammy Awards, broke her silence on her historic recognition during the first night of her Toronto Eras Tour concert.
The news comes just days after the singer made history on November 8, becoming the first woman ever to be nominated for Album of the Year at the Grammys seven times.
Swift, who has already won the coveted category four times, including this year's victory for 'Midnights', continues to dominate the award scene.
This year, she’s also up for Record of the Year and Song of the Year for her hit 'Fortnight', Best Pop Vocal Album for 'The Tortured Poets Department', and Best Music Video for 'Fortnight'. Additionally, Swift earned a nod for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her collaboration on Gracie Abrams' song 'US'.

Taylor Swift reacts to being nominated for six Grammys
During the first day of the Toronto Eras Tour on November 14th, Taylor Swift took a moment during the surprise song segment of her show to address her fans.
'Love Story' singer began by saying, "You guys did something so amazing over the course of the last few months."
Swift then expressed her gratitude to her dedicated fanbase, known as Swifties, for their support of her latest album. "I just mean what you did with embracing ‘The Tortured Poets Department’, the album. It’s truly blown my mind because it’s really emotional for me that this album, I wrote it during the Eras Tour," she explained.
In a video shared by fans online, Swift continued, recalling how she created the album while trying to keep it a secret from her fans. "I wrote it during The Eras Tour. Like I wrote that album, made that album—all trying to keep it a secret from you guys. And then announced the album," she said.
Swift, who has been in the spotlight for her relationship with boyfriend Travis Kelce, took a moment to praise her Eras Tour team for bringing the 'Tortured Poets' act to life before turning her focus back to her fans.
"You guys have just been so wonderful about digging into this album and really understanding where I was coming from," she said. "You made it by far the debut week I’ve ever had with an album and you kept that album at number one for nearly four months."
With gratitude in her voice, Swift continued, "And the most recent thing that you did, because everything that happens is a direct reflection of the passion that you show, is you guys got this album nominated for six Grammys. It’s so unbelievable, so thank you."
