Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce 'not taking chances' on his $6M Kansas home after burglary leaves duo shaken
KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have reportedly made a decision regarding their $6 million Kansas City home after it was targeted in a calculated break-in last month.
To provide some context, on October 7, both Kelce's and his teammate Patrick Mahomes' properties were targeted by thieves.
The break-ins occurred while the Kansas City Chiefs were playing the New Orleans Saints at Arrowhead Stadium—a game that Swift, 34, attended as she cheered from the stands.
Now the couple are "not taking any chances" after the burglary seemed to have left them shaken.

According to Daily Mail, sources have confirmed that Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have no plans to sell their Leawood, Kansas, home following its recent burglary. Instead, the couple is reportedly "sparing no expense" when it comes to increasing security at the property.
The source revealed, "This was a calculated break-in and Taylor and Travis are not taking any chances. The intruders knew exactly when the house would be empty and could easily see that she was at the game he was playing in."
The insider went on to explain, "They knew how long they had to carry out the robbery based on when the game ended. After the game they stayed at a hotel and since then they have taken drastic measures including a more advanced in-home security system and reinforced locks, etc."
The source also clarified that while the robbers weren't targeting Swift, they still managed to steal $20,000 from Kelce's home. However, the insider emphasized that the most important thing was that everyone was safe, adding, "The fact that they were safe was the only thing people cared about."
Following the report of $20,000 stolen from his $6 million mansion, it's important to note that Kelce also lost $100,000 worth of jewelry and the jersey he wore in his first-ever Super Bowl in 2020. Additionally, the back door of the mansion was damaged during the break-in.
