BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS: MAGA influencer Jack Posobiec is facing quite a backlash after claiming a disgraced tech CEO who was busted cheating on his wife at a Coldplay concert was just more proof that the left hates “straight White CEOs".

It all started on Wednesday, July 16, at Coldplay’s Boston concert. Andy Byron, then-CEO of data startup Astronomer, was caught by the show’s "kiss cam." But it wasn’t his wife, Megan Kerrigan, beside him. It was Astronomer’s HR head, Kristin Cabot.

When the camera zoomed in, Kristin threw her hands over her face and Byron quite literally ducked for cover.

Even Coldplay frontman Chris Martin couldn’t help but joke at their reaction from the stage. “Either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy,” he cracked.

Jack Posobiec attributes Andy Byron's mockery to anti-whiteism

But as memes and mockery about Byron and Cabot dominated social media, Posobiec and Human Events editor Kenny Cody were less concerned about infidelity and more focused on identity politics. On Monday’s show, Posobiec compared Byron’s fall from grace to what he claims is a larger plan by the left to go after everyone White and wealthy.

“You look at some of the candidates now that are being embraced, whether it be Zohran Mamdani, in New York City or whether it be this guy, Omar Fateh, who just won the endorsement of the Democrats in the Minneapolis mayor's race, which essentially means, you know, he's well on his way to becoming the next mayor,” Posobiec noted.

“They offer full-on free stuff. They offer, hey, we are going to go to all the White people, take away their stuff, and the rich CEOs.”

“This is important,” he continued. “All those CEO memes that were going around this weekend, the, you know, oh, this guy, he had an affair, Coldplay, et cetera, et cetera. Keep in mind that, once again, all those CEO memes that were running around this weekend were going viral because leftists hate CEOs. And specifically, they hate straight White CEOs.”

“If they were not straight, if that was not a White couple, guess what, I guarantee you you would have not seen the response that you did this weekend," Posobiec insisted.

Cody said the affair was a personal failure, but agreed the media’s coverage reeked of double standards. “I don't feel sorry for him at all, just as a person or as an influencer, but when it comes to the class of people that always get attacked, it's always the same rich, White men that are getting attacked by the mainstream media because they hate them,” he noted.

By Saturday, July 19, Byron was officially out. Astronomer announced that he had stepped down as CEO, citing a breach of behavioral standards.

“Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted,” the company said in a statement. “Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met.”

Insiders told the New York Post that Byron likely chose to resign before the board fired him as it may have helped him avoid walking away empty-handed. Meanwhile, his wife Megan Kerrigan deleted her social media accounts and scrubbed “Byron” from her profiles. The two reportedly share two children.

Jack Posobiec blasted on social media for his remarks

While Posobiec tried to turn Byron’s downfall into a crusade against “straight white CEOs,” the internet wasn’t having it. At all.

"Cry Harder Bro," one posted on X.

"How is him getting busted cheating an attack on “straight white” people? That’s MAGA logic," another wrote.

"Jack Posobiec is an asshole who happens to be white. and he wants to play identity politics… hmm its sounds like exactly what they accused the left of doing," someone else fumed.

"Get a life jerk, they just got caught like anyone else would in same situation. Poor White Folk my a**!" read a comment.

"This guy is deranged," another insisted.
