NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Eagles star Jalen Hurts has been called out online after he attended the Met Gala after snubbing Donald Trump’s White House invitation in April.

The 26-year-old was one among many players who were invited by the president after their Super Bowl victory in February. But Hurts was unable to go because of “scheduling conflicts”, as reported by the Daily Mail.

However, just days after the apparent snub, the footballer was seen gracing the blue carpet of the Met Gala on May 5 alongside his wife Bryonna "Bry" Burrows.

The quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles was seen rocking black velvet coat embellished with gemstones, which he paired with a matching beret.

His wife was seen in an embroidered maroon gown that came with fringe skirt. Both their outfits were from Burberry, as per PEOPLE.
