LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: During a recent episode of the 'New Heights' podcast, Jason Kelce shared a candid admission about his phone habits and their impact on his marriage.

Responding to a listener's question about setting boundaries with a partner who is frequently distracted by their phone, Jason reflected on his own struggles. “I am terrible, I can get so lost in my phone,” he confessed, noting that his wife, Kylie, has called him out “multiple times” for this behavior.

According to US Magazine, the fan's inquiry highlighted a common issue: being present in a relationship while one partner is glued to their device. “You’re trying to be present with somebody and they’re not there,” Jason observed, emphasizing the importance of communication in such situations.

He advised the listener to express their feelings, stating, “Let your husband or the person you’re in a relationship [with] know that they’re doing this. Because nine times out of ten, they don’t know that they’re [on] their phone as much as they are.”

Travis Kelce also chimed in, admitting he falls into similar patterns.

“You have to be aware of how much you’re [on] your phone and you’re not in this world,” he joked.

“Whenever I go on my phone for a long period of time, I am not anywhere in the room.” He humorously added, “I am in that f**king phone, looking through Reels, looking at Twitter, looking at everything on the f**king phone … searching f**king random dumbass facts about the f**king theory of relativity.”

Kelce brothers stress need for open communication about phone habits

Both brothers encouraged the caller to have an “open and honest discussion” about phone use and to find a balance that works for both partners.

“You guys should be able to come to an agreement that when we’re in certain settings, we’re not gonna have the phone out,” Jason said. Travis added, “There’s gotta be a happy medium; you can’t go too extreme on this one.”

Swift recently shared how the podcast played a significant role in their relationship, recalling a moment when Travis “put me on blast” about trying to give her his phone number via a friendship bracelet.
