HOUSTON, TEXAS: Beyonce wowed her fans during a 15-minute performance at the NFL Christmas Gameday halftime show at the NRG Stadium amid a football match between Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens. 

While the pop superstar stole the show with her performance, it was her husband Jay-Z’s attire that caught the attention of the netizens. The rapper's appearance to support his wife during the halftime show came amid rumors of the power couple going through a divorce. 

The billionaire music mogul, 55, was seen in the stadium during his ‘Crazy in Love’ songstress wife’s performance, rocking a black and white outfit with a festive sweater.

As Beyonce opted for white in her signature style for the concert, her daughter Blue Ivy, 12, who joined the backup dancers during her ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ set, also wore white for her performance. 

Sitting in the audience, the ‘Single Ladies’ singer’s mother Tina Knowles, and one of her twins, Rumi, too opted for white outfits, reported Page Six. Her husband Jay-Z, however, chose a color out of the box as he wore a black festive wollen sweater with multi-colored embroidery for the outing. 

The Roc Nation founder also covered his eyes with black glasses and put a black beanie on his head, in contrast with the rest of his family, which sparked reactions from people on the internet.

Soon, the netizens started pointing out that the rapper’s choice of attire did not align with the rest of the members of Beyonce’s party. Some even claimed that he looked like Whoopi Goldberg in his embroidered cardigan. 

Meanwhile, Beyonce also made a handgun gesture during her performance on stage, which NFL stars are specifically banned from making on the field. 

On Christmas, the pop star performed in her hometown of Houston in a 15-minute set comprising eight songs from her latest album 'Cowboy Carter'. She was also joined on stage by singers like Post Malone, and Shaboozey.

As Jay-Z's attire from the event went viral, the netizens put forward their opinion on the music mogul's choice of attire and compared him to Whoopi Goldberg and Oprah.

One of the social media users said, "Imagine being a billionaire and dressing like a homeless person."

Another user chimed in, citing he looked like 'The Color Purple' star, "I swear he may be OPRAH."
