WASHINGTON, DC: Vice President JD Vance fired back at critics targeting his wife, Usha Vance.

This included Nick Fuentes and former Biden press secretary Jen Psaki. He delivered a blunt response during a lengthy interview published by UnHerd on Sunday, December 21.

JD Vance declared on UnHerd, "Let me be clear. Anyone who attacks my wife, whether their name is Jen Psaki or Nick Fuentes, can eat s**t, That’s my official policy as vice president of the United States."

In the same interview, Vance firmly spoke out against antisemitism and all forms of racism, drawing a clear line on what conservatives should not accept.

He said, “Antisemitism and all forms of ethnic hatred have no place in the conservative movement. Whether you’re attacking somebody because they’re white or because they’re black or because they’re Jewish, I think it’s disgusting.”

JD Vance criticizes fellow conservatives for attacking members of their own party

JD Vance's comments came just hours after he appeared on stage at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest, criticizing fellow conservatives for publicly attacking members of their own party.

Vance said, “President Trump did not build the greatest coalition in politics by running his supporters through endless, self-defeated purity tests, I didn’t bring a list of conservatives to denounce or to deplatform. Let me just say the best way to honor Charlie is that none of us here should be doing something after Charlie’s death that he himself refused to do in life.”

Vance’s remarks seemed aimed at conservative podcaster Ben Shapiro, who had criticized right-wing commentators Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson, the latter recently named StopAntisemitism’s 2025 Antisemite of the Year over his soft interview with Fuentes.

Nick Fuentes, a 27-year-old far-right white supremacist and Holocaust denier, attacked JD Vance for marrying Usha Vance, the daughter of Indian immigrants.

He called Vance a “race traitor” and used hateful language about Usha. After Vance became President Trump’s running mate, Fuentes said, “Who is this guy, really? Do we really expect that the guy who has an Indian wife and named their kid Vivek is going to support white identity?”

On the other side, former Biden press secretary Jen Psaki criticized Vance in October, saying Usha needed to be rescued. During an appearance on the 'I’ve Had It' podcast, Psaki said, “I always wonder what’s going on in the mind of [Vance’s] wife. Like, are you OK? Please blink four times. Come over here. We’ll save you.”
