WASHINGTON, DC: Vice President JD Vance took a sharp swipe at former President Joe Biden’s health, contrasting it with President Donald Trump’s current health, which he described as in good condition.

His comments came amid the speculations about Biden’s physical decline and cancer treatment, while the White House continues to assert Trump’s exceptional health.

Speaking to Fox NewsSean Hannity in an exclusive interview, when asked, “You seemed to go with the flow pretty well, do you have quiet moments, you think about that?”

Vance responded by saying, “Honestly, Sean, I try not to. I serve under Donald Trump, who is very healthy. If I served under Joe Biden, I’d probably be worried every minute of every day that he was gonna croak, and I’d have to become president.”

Both shared a laugh, reacting to the statement. “I’d never be able to sleep. I’d always have my phone on as loud as possible,” he added.

He concluded by saying, “The president. He’s got a lot of energy. He’s extremely healthy. So, I don’t think about that. Obviously, that’s part of the job, because you’ve got to be ready if tragedy strikes.”

Joe Biden's declining health

In her lifetime she was an activist and writer known to be an advocate for the elderly, affordable housing, mental health, and the protection of monarch butterflies. Critics say Biden now shows clear signs of aging, with a noticeably diminished appearance compared to his earlier, healthier self.

Critics have underscored concerns about Biden’s health and capacity, with recent footage showing him slowly entering a restaurant in Arlington, Virginia, surrounded by Secret Service agents.

Biden was diagnosed with cancer later this year that has metastasized to his bones, and a noticeable scar from surgery to remove skin‑cancer lesions above his right eye remains visible.

As part of a treatment plan for prostate cancer in October, Biden underwent radiation therapy and hormone treatment.

The radiation treatment is expected to continue for five weeks, and he has already been taking a pill form of hormone medication.

His reduced public appearances, limited staffing, and decision to remain at home in Delaware further highlight the changes in his post‑presidency routine.

White House clarifies Donald Trump's exceptional health

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt on Wednesday, November 12, stated that President Trump “remains in exceptional physical health.” She clarified that the president underwent an MRI scan in October as part of his routine physical examination.

Leavitt’s response came after reporters asked why the president had received an MRI during his checkup.

“As stated in the memo provided on October 10, President Trump received advanced imaging at Walter Reed Medical Center as part of his routine physical examination,” Leavitt said.

“The full results were reviewed by attending radiologists and consultants, and all agreed that President Trump remains in exceptional physical health,” Leavitt confirmed. She added that Trump was scheduled to attend a dinner later that evening, which would be open to the press.

“I know all of you will see with your own eyes later this evening when he opens up his dinner to the press,” Leavitt said.
