LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jeannie Mai Jenkins has pleaded with a judge to halt her prenuptial contract with her estranged husband Jeezy, claiming she did not get much time to read and understand it before giving her consent.

TMZ reported that the 45-year-old submitted her request in Fulton County Superior Court on Thursday, January 18, alleging that Jeezy only gave her five days before their March 2021 wedding to read and sign the agreement.

Notably, Jeezy filed for divorce from Jenkins in September 2023, saying their marriage was "irretrievably broken." He even hinted that his wife might have cheated on him.

Jeannie Mai Jenkins asks for more time before the prenuptial deal is enforced

In her filing, Jenkins mentioned that the "abbreviated negotiation window" has raised "significant concerns about the adequacy and thoroughness of the due diligence process, and each party’s 'full and fair disclosure' of their financial positions," as reported by PEOPLE Magazine.

She also argued that the "compressed timeframe" made it "inherently challenging, if not impossible" for both parties to "engage in comprehensive due diligence."
