Jenna Bush Hager reveals she tried to ‘set up’ former ‘Today’ co-host Hoda Kotb with Lenny Kravitz
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jenna Bush Hager shared that she had tried to set up her former co-host Hoda Kotb with Lenny Kravitz.
The former first daughter made the revelation in front of her guest co-host Tyra Banks during the Friday, April 18, episode of ‘Today with Jenna and Friends’, as reported by Page Six.
Hager said, “There was a period where I was trying to set Hoda up with him, because she –– like every other woman in the world –– finds him irresistible.”

Jenna Bush Hager, 43, further revealed that she made the effort when Joe Kravitz, 60, came on the ‘Today’ show in September last year.
Hager said, “He was wearing like a mesh top and leather pants, and I was, like, trying to set them up.”
She also noted that the singer appeared “so friendly” to her that she felt like she was “setting up [her] uncle with Hoda.”
Banks then shared thoughts about Kravitz as she mentioned, “Lenny looks so edgy, but he is so normal. It’s weird, because he looks all like, ‘Hey what’s up baby? How you doin’?’ But he’s like, ‘Hey! How’s your mom?’ And it’s like he’s a dad.”

The publication reported that Jenna Bush Hager tried to first fix Hoda Kotb, also 60, and Joe Kravitz’s date in front of the ‘Today’ show crowd before he performed outside Rockefeller Center last fall.
Hager asked the rockstar, “Are you looking for love?”
He then replied that he’s “always” looking for love, to which Hager said, “Well I know of an electric lady if you want her number! She’s right here!”
Later during the episode, Kotb told Hager, “He’s hot, he’s kind. He’s got it all. He lives in the Bahamas, he’s barefoot, he makes music, he meditates…”
Hoda Kotb dated a mystery man for brief period
However, before the ‘It Ain’t Over ’til It’s Over’ hitmaker, Jenna Bush Hager had set up Hoda Kotb with a mystery man but after three dates she decided to not take things foward.
During an August 2024 episode of ‘The Jamie Kern Lima Show’, the television personality shared, “This person, who’s a lovely human being, has a lot of things that are being worked out.”
But she also noted, “[We are] all good. He’s very cute, by the way, extremely handsome. I’ll show you a picture after, but tabled for now.”
On the professional front, after 26 years at NBC, Kotb bid goodbye to the 'Today' show. Her final episode aired on January 10. Since then she has stayed away from the spotlight.
