Jennifer Aniston opens up on not having TikTok, says she won't subscribe to 'something that will ruin my life'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Aniston has taken a firm stance against the pressures of social media as she revealed her decision to stay away from TikTok.

Opening up about her cautious approach to social media platforms, the actress said, "I don't have TikTok, nor will I ever. I just won't."

"I'm not gonna subscribe to one more thing that is gonna ruin my life or somebody else's life," she added, according to ET.

Jennifer Aniston thinks social media is unhealthy

While Aniston boasts a popular Instagram presence, she shared that she keeps social media "at arm's length" as it "could suck you in and you've wasted hours of your life."

"I can't believe sometimes when I found myself in an absolute wormhole of dog, puppy videos and rescue animals, and babies, and cats. That's the stuff I enjoy. But then there's some stuff online I just don't wanna see," she continued.

The 'Friends' actress talked about how social media is not healthy as she said, "I don't think we are were designed to take in the amount of information at the speed and the rate that we do these days."

Aniston further spoke about social media being unheatlhy for children as it causes "the mental illness that kids are suffering from because of the compare and despair."

"It's so hard to be a teenager these days. We are so hard on ourselves, and kids are so mean too," she added.

"We've got good days. We've got bad days. We have good hair days. We've got s****y hair days," she continued.

"We've got good skin days, bad skin days. It's a mixed bag. It's also just so unrealistic to try to sell something that doesn't feel authentic," Aniston added.

"I feel like I'm stronger from the inside out in ways that I've never quite been before," she said of her workout.

"This method works out deep layers of muscles that you didn't even know you had. There's muscle definition that I didn't know I could have," she added.
