Jennifer Aniston shares rare insight into ex-husband Brad Pitt’s ‘Friends’ cameo
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Aniston opened up about her former husband Brad Pitt’s cameo on ‘Friends’ over two decades after their divorce.
The 57-year-old actress made the comment during an appearance on Variety's 'Actors on Actors’, which was released on Wednesday, June 3, alongside her former co-star Lisa Kudrow.

Jennifer Aniston says it was 'funny' to have Brad Pitt in 'Friends' episode
The two were discussing the “Thanksgiving episodes” of the hit sitcom when Kudrow said, “When Brad was on, that was hilarious.”
To which Aniston replied, “I know. How funny. The movie stars that came on ‘Friends.’ Brad, Bruce Willis, Julia Roberts. Isabella Rossellini. We had so many — Sean Penn. They were always nervous. Remember? I always found it fascinating how nervous they were.”
“Yes. Nervous. Well, because what’s the tone? It’s not theater; it’s for TV. It’s not a movie. What the hell is this? And it’s a good question. And I remember someone asked one time. I didn’t know how to explain it, so I said, ‘Oh, just talk louder. Same intention, just —,’” ‘The Comeback’ star added.
Brad Pitt was married to Jennifer Aniston when he did 'Friends' cameo
Pitt had appeared on ‘Friends’ in a 2001 Thanksgiving episode, titled "The One with the Rumor," as Will Colbert, who was a high school friend of David Schwimmer’s character, Ross Geller.
At the time, he was married to Aniston, whom he began dating in 1998. But they called it quits in 2005, sharing that the "decision is the result of much thoughtful consideration" in a joint statement.
Jennifer Aniston called Brad Pitt divorce 'a vulnerable time'
Last year, ‘The Morning Show’ star talked about it during an interview with Vanity Fair, and how the media stories around her failed relationship left her traumatized.
“I just remember the experience of doing it — which was kind of jarring,” Aniston revealed, referring to her first interview with Vanity Fair in 2005 after the divorce.
She added, “It was also such a vulnerable time. But yeah, that was one for the memoirs. Journalism back then felt more like a form of a sport. There’s obviously some PTSD we all have, which is why [interviews] scare me.”
Jennifer Aniston reminds people celebrities are also human beings
The Primetime Emmy Award-winning star also reflected on her own struggles following the split and how she kept on going amid the heightened drama.
“It was such juicy reading for people. If they didn’t have their soap operas, they had their tabloids. It’s a shame that it had to happen, but it happened. And boy did I take it personally,” Aniston stated, before asserting, “We’re human beings, even though some people don’t want to believe we are. They think, ‘You signed up for it, so you take it.’ But we really didn’t sign up for that.”
