Jennifer Garner feels 'guilty' walking through her house after losing friend in LA wildfires
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Garner got emotional as she shared that she lost a friend in the raging Southern California wildfires.
The actress, who was volunteering alongside World Central Kitchen founder Jose Andres to feed firefighters and evacuees at one of the chef’s many pop-up locations across Los Angeles County, opened up about the heartbreak to MSNBC's Katy Tur on Friday, January 10, as per People.

The ‘13 Going on 30’ star said, "I did lose a friend, and for our church, it's really tender so I don't feel like we should talk about it yet. I did lose a friend. She didn't get out in time."
Further expressing her grief, Garner continued, "My heart bleeds for my friends. I mean, I can think of 100 families, and there are 5,000 homes lost. I can — without even [thinking] — I could just write out a list of 100 friends who lost their homes."
"I feel almost guilty walking through my house. You know, what can I do? How can I help? What can I offer? What do I have to offer with these hands and these walls and the safety that I have?" she added.

During the interview, the mother of three also praised Jose Andres for his work, saying, "It is an incredible thing to watch. World Central Kitchen and Chef Jose just came in and... 'We've got you. We've got this handled. Don't worry.'"
The ‘Elektra’ actress shared that she’s "lived in and around the Palisades for 25 years, so I just think all of us, we want to get our hands into working, somehow, to be helpful."
"And because of my work with Save The Children, we have a relationship with the chef, and I was able to just say, 'Can I be with you for the day? What can I do to help? Put me to work,'" Garner told Tur.
Kardashians team up with restaurant to donate meals to LAFD firefighters
Other A-listers are also trying to be of help in the saddening situation.
The Kardashian-Jenner family partnered with the LA-based Carousel Restaurant and donated meals to "several fire stations" across Los Angeles, as per Page Six.

The Kardashians had to leave their Hidden Hills homes after a mandatory evacuation order was issued due to the Kenneth Fire, which spread to nearly 1,000 acres in a matter of hours on Thursday.
