LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tina Knowles has revealed that she lost her oceanfront property in Malibu in the devastating wildfires that have badly affected Los Angeles since January 7 in a heartbreaking post on Instagram.

Taking to the social media platform on Thursday, January 9, the mother of Beyonce said that her “tiny little bungalow” was burned down just days after she celebrated her birthday there on January 4, Daily Mail reported.

Tina Knowles calls her Malibu house her ‘favorite place’

The 71-year-old posted a video of a pod of dolphins swimming in clear blue water as she wrote, “This is what I was looking at on my birthday this past weekend from my tiny little bungalow on the water in Malibu! It was my favorite place, my sanctuary, my sacred Happy Place.”

She continued, “Now it is gone !! God Bless all the brave men and women in our fire department who risked their lives in dangerous conditions.”

The businesswoman went on to thank the first responders as she noted, “We Thankyou for your dedication and bravery and for saving so many lives. This could have been so much worse without the dedication of the disaster workers and first responders.”

Tina Knowles sent prayers to people who lost their lives and belongings in wildfires

Acknowledging the lives lost due to the fire, Tina Knowles said, “I’m so sad for the people who lost the five family members. My deepest Prayers are with you !!!!!!”

“To the people who lost their homes and belongings, I can only imagine how it feels to lose properties and everything you own! My heart and deep prayers go out to all of you ❤️,” she continued.

Concluding her post, Knowles added, “I am praying diligently for our beautiful City of Los Angeles !! We are resilient though and we will recover! ‘This too shall pass’❤️.”
