Whitney Cummings breaks down in tears as she evacuates LA home due to wildfires: 'So hard to leave'
TOPANGA, CALIFORNIA: Whitney Cummings could not hold back her tears as she had to leave her LA home because of the Southern California wildfires.
Posting a TikTok video on Tuesday, January 7, the comedian showed her at-home studio of the 'Good for You' podcast before evacuating it, as reported by The New York Post.
She said in the post, “I am evacuating my home. It’s so hard to leave the podcast studio behind. I know that sounds insane. I have everything, like my son’s birth certificate. But just to leave all this.”

‘The Female Brain’ actress Whitney Cummings also mentioned that her studio “is such a big deal for me because it connected me to so many of you guys.”
She then went on to show the wildfire from her window as she noted, “I don’t know if you can see. It’s pretty close.”
Cummings further explained, “I don’t know what I’m gonna lose, but it’s weirdly like, you really find out what matters to you when you have to evacuate.”
“I’m not taking the cameras. I’m just taking little trinkets and stuff that you guys gave me at shows,” she added, as she began crying.
The 42-year-old podcaster captioned her TikTok video as “LA fire update 💔.”

Besides, in an Instagram post, Whitney Cummings shared photos of the things she managed to take from her home before the evacuation.
Some of the pictures were of the ‘2 Broke Girls’ pilot script, a Michael Jordan Chicago Bulls jersey, “Carries mirror from Sex and the City”, and a painting of her dog Ramona.

In the caption, the mother-of-one said, “You really find out what matters when you can only grab a couple things to evacuate. Whitney Cummings’ other Instagram share showed her standing outside with her 1-year-old son. The photo had a firetruck in the background.
“LAFD and just all fire fighters, thank you. Gonna be a wild couple days. As I seriously consider moving out of California I remember these heroes don’t think that way,” she shared in the caption.
