Jennifer Garner's BF John Miller's concerns revealed as they deal with drama of Ben Affleck-JLo divorce

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Garner’s boyfriend John Miller allegedly doesn’t like sharing his partner “when it comes to her and Ben [Affleck].”

Amid Affleck’s split from his current wife Jennifer Lopez, 55, speculations were building that the ‘Argo’ actor’s ex-wife Jennifer Garner, 52, was facing a relationship turmoil of her own with partner John Miller, 46.

Just after the ‘Jenny From the Block’ singer filed for divorce from Affleck on August 20, it was rumored that the 'Elektra' actress’s relationship with Miller was facing uncertainty and the couple purportedly decided to go “on a break.”

Now, a source close to the couple opened up to Daily Mail and spilled Miller’s concerns regarding the equation of the ‘Dawson’s Creek’ actress with her ex-husband as she is helping the ‘Argo’ actor cope with his divorce.

John Miller’s concerns regarding Jennifer Garner revealed

The outlet recently reported that amid all the tensions surrounding relationship issues, Miller and Garner are trying to get into a “better place” after her attempts to help Affleck navigate his divorce put a strain on their relationship. 

Since the marital woes of Affleck and Lopez started coming to the surface, Garner has consistently been there and almost adopted the role of a “marriage counselor.” 

The role has, however, didn’t sit well with Miller, who though understands that there are children involved, doesn’t like “sharing Jen” with her ex-husband. The ‘AIR’ star shares his three children - Violet, 18, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12, with Garner.

An insider shared with Daily Mail, “John doesn't like sharing Jen and there is a divide when it comes to her and Ben.”

The source further shed light on the current state of their relationship, saying that while the businessman is not anxious about Garner reconnecting with Affleck in the wake of his divorce, it is just getting harder for him to cope with Garner’s intense involvement. 

“He wishes it wasn't like that because he understands they are a family, but it gets to him like it would anyone,” said the source.

They explained, “John doesn't have any fears that they are getting back together – but it has been tough coping with her support for Ben during his split from JLo.”

They further noted that the Cali Group CEO is now looking forward to moving past the recent turmoil and wants to focus on his relationship with Garner.

“John is looking forward to Ben and JLo's split being done so he can start focusing on Jen,” claimed the source before adding pragmatically, “Bumpy roads recently are looking to be smoothed out.”

“Both Jen and John are hoping for that. It is just going to take a little time. They both want to be in a better place, but some work needs to be done,” declared the source.

Jennifer Garner and John Miller ‘haven’t split’

The tipster, while talking about the state of the relationship between Garner and her American businessman partner, also set the records straight and clarified that they “haven’t split”. 

Rather, the source added that their “friends feel that they will be together for a long time. They are very private.”

They revealed that Miller’s steady presence and his patience about the entire scenario only increased Garner’s belief in the relationship. 

“The relationship that Ben and Jen have is different, and where that bothers John, Jen actually likes that it is different because that is what attracted her to John in the first place,” shared the source. 

Garner and Affleck have always maintained a codial relationship as they co-parent their three children together. Recently, they were seen in New Havens, Connecticut, as they went to drop their eldest - Violet - to star her school at Yale.

Another source recently shared with Life & Style that Miller and Garner are “on a break” following the recent saga. 

The insider said, "Jen’s had so much going on with Ben, it just took a toll," before adding, "And she and John ended up going their separate ways. It wasn’t her choice."

"Ben’s been turning to Jen [Garner] for advice and support, and that’s been a big source of annoyance for John," they continued while claiming,  "He doesn’t enjoy competing with her ex-husband for her attention." 

The source added that though Miller shares an amicable relationship with the ‘Good Will Hunting’ star, he was finding it difficult. "John likes Ben and tries to be understanding, but there’s only so much a guy can take," shared the source. 

They added, Affleck "basically made Jen into his personal therapist once he started having issues with J Lo. She’s who he’d run to. But it got even worse after he left JLo.”

Referring to Affleck’s initial move to his rented property in Brentwood, the source added, “When he moved out, he got so incredibly needy. It was one crisis after another, and when he’s in that state, Jen is always there for him without fail. John has finally had enough."

However, a separate source exclusively confirmed to TMZ that the couple has not separated. Contrary to the previous reports, Garner is not going back to her ex-husband with whom she was married from 2005 to 2018, and she is happy in her relationship with Miller.
