LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Lopez has decided to suspend her promotional activities to focus on a critical cause.
The singer and actress is stepping away from her media tour for the film 'Unstoppable' to aid in relief efforts for those affected by the Los Angeles wildfires.

Jennifer Lopez’s upcoming appearances on several high-profile shows in New York, such as 'Today', 'The View', and 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon', have been canceled.
The film’s premiere was originally planned for Hollywood’s TCL Chinese Theatre. However, that too has been canceled.
According to a source who spoke with People, Lopez has cleared her schedule to assist in the aftermath of the devastating wildfires.
“It’s important to her to focus on supporting the community of Los Angeles during this very difficult time,” the source shared.
Although the movie's promotional plans have shifted, Lopez has chosen to prioritize helping her city during this challenging time.

Jennifer Lopez has instead decided to stay in Los Angeles to contribute to fire relief efforts.
The fires have caused widespread destruction, displacing thousands of residents, including some well-known figures.
Some celebrities who lost their homes in the Los Angeles wildfires include Paris Hilton, Jeff Bridges, Anthony Hopkins, John Goodman, and Anna Faris.
Jennifer Lopez checks in on Ben Affleck and his children amid wildfires
Amid the crisis, Jennifer Lopez has reportedly reached out to her ex-husband Ben Affleck and his children, Violet, Fin, and Samuel, after hearing their home might be in danger.
A source told Page Six that Lopez wanted to ensure their safety.
“She reached out as soon as she heard about Ben’s home possibly being in danger and that he was evacuated,” the source stated.
The actor and his family are among the 130,000 people under evacuation orders, spanning areas from the Pacific Coast to Pasadena.
A new investigative task force is being created in response to the wildfires, Los Angeles Police Department Chief Jim McDonnell announced on Saturday, January 11, according to CNN.
The ATF will be working to determine the origin and cause of the Palisades Fire, the agency’s Los Angeles office said on X.
