Jennifer Lopez moving on with 'resilience and grit' amid Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner's reunion

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Lopez is focusing on themes of strength and determination as she prepares for the release of her new film, 'Unstoppable'.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, the singer and actress opened up about portraying Judy Robles, the mother of one-legged NCAA wrestler Anthony Robles, as reported by The Daily Mail.

“When I first learned about the true story behind Unstoppable, I was moved beyond words,” Lopez wrote. “It’s a testament to resilience, grit, and the human spirit. This film celebrates the fighters and dreamers who refuse to give up, no matter the odds.”

The 55-year-old star expressed gratitude for the opportunity to portray Judy, adding, “Thank you, Entertainment Weekly. It was such an honor playing Judy Robles in this incredible story about her son Anthony. Both Anthony and Judy truly define what it means to be 'Unstoppable.'”

The film, produced by Lopez’s ex-husband Ben Affleck, and his Artists Equity partner Matt Damon, opens in limited release on December 6, followed by streaming on Prime Video starting January 16.

Meanwhile, Lopez’s ex-husband, Ben Affleck, sparked headlines with his Thanksgiving reunion with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. The former couple volunteered at The Midnight Mission in Los Angeles, serving meals to those in need.

Sources revealed to Page Six that Affleck felt “blessed” to spend the holiday with Garner and their three children—Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12. “Ben has a strong relationship with Jen that will never dissipate because they have a lot of history together and she's the mother of his kids,” an insider shared.

The insider continued, "They'll always be close because they share children together and maintain a friendly co-parenting relationship." 

Body language expert Judi James told DailyMail.com that Affleck appeared “relaxed and in charge” during the outing, contrasting his recent public demeanor with Lopez.

"Both he and his ex-wife Jennifer are smiling here and apparently happy to be photographed, with none of the rejection signals Ben had tended to display towards photographers until recently."

The reunion comes months after Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck in August, ending their second marriage after two years. Despite their split, Lopez is channeling her energy into her career and her family, focusing on projects that inspire resilience and optimism.
