LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez commemorated the anniversary of one of her empowering songs amid her alleged split with Ben Affleck.

The 54-year-old 'Maid in Manhattan' star shared her sensuous music video for the 2021 song 'Cambia el Paso' on Instagram on Sunday, July 7, which she co-wrote and is about taking charge of one's own life.

The post came a few days after Lopez celebrated the Fourth of July in New York without her husband Affleck, who was in Los Angeles.

Jennifer Lopez talks about not being afraid to make changes in 'Cambia el Paso'

The 'Can't Get Enough' singer shared a snippet from the 2021 music video for the song 'Cambia el Paso', which is an empowering song about taking control of one's own life, per People.

Lopez initially titled the Instagram post with the song title, but within some time, she changed it to: "Happy Anniversary 'Cambia el Paso' …"

The hitmaker dazzles in the vintage video as she frolics on a beach, decked out in a dazzling silver bustier and denim shorts.

Lopez initially released the song in July 2021, a few months following her split with Alex Rodriguez.

One phrase of the song, rendered from Spanish to English, says, "He doesn't deserve to have her in his arms." However, that portion of the song was not included in the clip Lopez shared.

Lopez only shared the pre-chorus and chorus of the song, which goes, "Uno, dos, tres, uno, dos tres, avanza," which translates to "one, two, three, move forward."

In the chorus, she sings in English, "All she wanna do is just dance, dance, dance, dance," before launching into the track's title, which translates to 'Change the Step'.

In one image, Lopez appears to be rolling around on the beach while wearing a silver bustier and jean shorts, and in another, she appears to be dancing in denim on the street.

The song goes on, "Her life is better now without him … she doesn't need anyone to be well / She does not fail, she does not fail."

Jennifer Lopez's cryptic post follows rumors of marital woes with Ben Affleck

Lopez's cryptic message followed after a bombshell rumor that stated that the 'Can't Get Enough' singer and the 'Air' actor's marriage had been "over for months."

The pair have "been apart since March," an insider told Page Six. The couple, who haven't been seen together in over a month, has been the subject of separation rumors for several months and is allegedly "on the edge of divorce."

The insider did, however, note that Affleck, 51, is "very protective of Jennifer" in spite of their marital difficulties.

Affleck moved out of the couple's shared Los Angeles residence in late June, a source told People.

Another source also told People that the pair, who was married in July 2022, "don’t have any summer plans together" and are "focused on their separate lives" this summer due to marital discord.

JLo's song 'Cambia el Paso' is about not being afraid to 'take the step'

The 'Marry Me' singer explained the significance of the song 'Cambia el Paso' on 'Pitbull's Globalization' on SiriusXM in 2021.

"The song is about change and not being afraid to take the step. Like, just take the step, advance, do what you need to do," Lopez explained at the time.

She added: "If something's not feeling right, whatever it is in your life, like, just make that move and dance."

The multihyphenate—she started as a dancer—continued by explaining that, to her, "dance means life and joy and happiness."

She continued, "So, whenever I'm talking about dance ... I'm talking about something else," interpreting it to mean that "You've got to be yourself, you've got to be happy."
