Jennifer Lopez ‘side-eye’ response to Celine Dion at fashion event sparks rumors of feud between singers

RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA: Fans have been left wondering if there is tension between Jennifer Lopez and Celine Dion following a video featuring the two singers attending an event that went viral recently.

The video featured Lebanese fashion designer Elie Saab between the two women as they took pictures, who were dressed in gorgeous gowns.

Actress Halle Berry and singer Camila Cabello were on the other open side of Lopez. Later, Cabello moved to stand beside Dion, presumably to balance the number of women on either side of Saab, per Marca.

Fans, however, observed that Lopez continued to glance sideways in the direction of Dion's position while the photo was being taken.

It is uncertain if Lopez was focusing on Dion because the video cut so far to the right that Dion was not even visible. However, the Canadian singer never glanced in Lopez's direction when she is spotted in the clip.

Elie Saab celebrates 45 years of his legacy with runway show

The female stars were all in Saudi Arabia as guests of Elie Saab's runway show 1001 Seasons of Elie Saab, which honored his legacy for 45 years, on November 13.

All of the women in the picture eventually took to the stage with Dion, Lopez, and Cabello performing at the event.

Lopez performed an eight-minute mix that featured 'Waiting for Tonight', 'On the Floor', and 'Let's Get Loud', while Dion performed two of her hits, 'The Power of Love' and 'I'm Alive'.

Berry, however, showed up to pay tribute to Saab by displaying the same gown he had custom-made for her at the time of her Best Leading Actress Oscar win in 2002.

The annual Riyadh Season in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, featured a catwalk show called The 1001 Seasons of Elie Saab, which combined fashion, entertainment, and art.

In a statement, Saab said 1001 Seasons of Elie Saab was an opportunity to "[usher] in fresh years, marked by a pivotal moment laden with hope," besides celebrating the brand's 45th anniversary, per Harper's Bazaar.

Internet claims Jennifer Lopez is 'jealous' of Celine Dion

Social media users were quick to notice Jennifer Lopez glancing at Celine Dion at the 1001 Seasons of Elie Saab show and began speculating whether there was any bad blood between the two singers.

One fan mocked Lopez's actions by saying, "Look at J.Lo eyeing up Celine Dion...darling, there's no comparison, Celine is Queen get over yourself!!!" in response to her odd conduct in the video.

A second user commented, "I watched like 10 times I can’t believe jlo did that … she even literally grab the man for herself … she’s not so confident at the end."

"J.Lo can't keep her eyes off celine. Because she's jealous of her, that's what," said another user.

One remarked, "Oh J.so.LO careful, your insecurities are showing."

Another wrote, "Jlo giving Celine the side eye. Look at how many times she looked at her. Celine did not care to look at Jlo."
