'Jeopardy!' takes sly jab at Travis Kelce with Taylor Swift-themed clue
The noteworthy moment unfolded in the first round when Greg Jolin selected the $200 clue in the "TV Show in Question" category.
Host Ken Jennings read aloud, "'Are You Smarter than a Celebrity?' is hosted by this man who's maybe more famous as a boyfriend than as a three-time Super Bowl champ."
The subtle dig—"more famous as a boyfriend"—wasn’t lost on the contestants.
Hieronymus quickly buzzed in and correctly identified the answer as "Travis Kelce."
After the Kelce clue, 'Jeopardy!' continued as usual.
Jolin ultimately secured his fifth win, finishing the day with $24,600 after Final Jeopardy, while Clermont placed second with $21,201, and Hieronymus followed with $12,201.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end's 'Are You Smarter than a Celebrity?' premiered on October 16.

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's growing romance
Travis Kelce has been a part of the Kansas City Chiefs since 2013. He contributed significantly to the team's three Super Bowl victories.
It was in 2023 that the NFL star's name began circulating beyond the sports after he revealed on his podcast, 'New Heights', which he co-hosts with his brother, \ Jason Kelce, that he tried to give the pop star a friendship bracelet with his phone number when attending her concert.
Not long afterward, Swift was seen cheering for Kelce at a Kansas City Chiefs game in September 2023, and they went public with their relationship in October 2023.
Since then, the 'Lover' singer has been a fixture at his games, often sitting with his family in the stands, while the Kelce family has supported her during various shows of her Eras Tour.
She has attended all four of the Chiefs' home games at Arrowhead Stadium this season with her most recent appearance being at the Chiefs vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers game on Monday, as per Today.
During her third Eras Tour show in Miami, Swift even celebrated Chiefs' win against the San Francisco 49ers on October 20 with her go-to lyric change, singing, "Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me."
She’s also rumored to have visited him on the set of 'Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity?'.
