Jesse Watters warns wife Emma DiGiovine it would be 'D Day' if he finds out she voted for Kamala Harris
WASHINGTON, DC: Jesse Watters jokingly warned he would consider it “D-Day” if he found out his wife Emma DiGiovine voted for Kamala Harris, comparing the act to “having an affair.”
The Fox News co-host of 'The Five' shared these remarks while discussing a recent advertisement encouraging women to vote privately without pressure from their partners.
Jesse Watters says voting for Kamala Harris would be 'D-Day' for his marriage
During 'The Five', conversation arose as Jesse Watters reacted to a video featuring Julia Roberts encouraging women to vote for Kamala Harris regardless of their MAGA-supporting spouses' opinions.
Watters explained how serious he would take it if his wife secretly backed Kamala Harris in the voting booth.
"If I found out Emma was going to the voting booth and pulling the lever for Harris, that’s the same thing as having an affair,” he said, expressing how such a decision would “violate the sanctity” of their marriage.

I hope “Emma” hears the way her husband demeans her as a woman and I hope she leaves so he can finally come out of the closet.

"What else is she keeping from me? What is she lying about?” he continued, wondering aloud about possible secrets.
Watters added, “Why would she do that and vote Harris? Why would she say she was voting… If I caught her and she said, ‘I lied to you for the last four years.’”
At that point, co-host Jeanine Pirro interrupted, “So you’d admit you’d intimidate…” to which Watters responded, “It’s over, Emma! That would be D-Day!” Daily Beast reported.

In recent political events, former first lady Michelle Obama encouraged women at a rally in Michigan to vote independently, suggesting that women shouldn’t be influenced by the men in their lives.
“If you are a woman who lives in a household of men that don’t listen to you or value your opinion, just remember that your vote is a private matter,” she said.
'Pretty Woman' star Roberts also voiced support for women’s privacy in voting, in a video advertisement for Vote Common Good.
