Jessica Simpson’s husband Eric Johnson often left her ‘alone at night’ to party at bars, claims source

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jessica Simpson’s marriage with Eric Johnson has been on the rocks "for years", with both drifting apart a long time back.

A source close to the married couple shared inside information about their alleged marital woes to The US Sun. 

Simpson, 44, and her husband recently fueled divorce rumors after being spotted without their respective wedding rings.

Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson- who tied the knot in 2014 and share three children - have been gradually drifting apart for years.  

Hinting at their marital woes, an insider dished, "Jessica and Eric have had problems for years, even before the pandemic. It's sadly no surprise they could be heading for divorce.”

The insider not only shared the alleged state of their marriage but also delved further into the probable reason for the weakening of their marriage. 

"Eric has often left Jessica alone at night to go out partying at bars, he didn't ever seem to care if anyone recognized him or not,” claimed the source before clarifying, "She is sober now, so that's not her scene at all.”

They further added that Johnson was often spotted having gala parties with younger crowds. Most of the time, missing from his attire was his wedding ring. 

"He was even spotted at the likes of Hyde on Sunset, known for a younger crowd and celebrities, and didn't wear his ring,” elaborated the source. 

The source finally said what several of the couple’s fans have been speculating for weeks, "It's no secret in Hollywood that they have been drifting apart for a long time."

While neither the ‘Blonde Ambition’ star nor Johnson said anything about their speculated divorce, tinsel town is buzzing with the rumors of their impending split. 

The news of Johnson’s solo parties without his wife came at the heels of rumors that his “overly flirtatious” behavior when inebriated is causing strains in their relationship. 

Last week, a source close to the couple shared, per Perez Hilton, “[There have been] rumors and rumblings about Eric being overly flirtatious during their relationship — especially when he drinks.”

Jessica Simpson celebrates 'singular magic'

Jessica Simpson further fueled the split rumors when she made a telling post on November 12, celebrating "singular magic".

The 'I Belong To Me' singer shared some glamorous photos on her Instagram, writing, "Interviews in my Nashville music room where I unearthed my singular magic."

She continued, "This comeback is personal, it’s an apology to myself for putting up with everything I did not deserve 🎶 🎼 🤍🖤."

Moreover, the entertainer, who often used to give updates about her life with her husband and and her three children, did not wish Johnson on their anniversary in July.
