"Right now, the economy is so bad Elon Musk is thinking about laying off Donald Trump," Fallon said, earning cheers from his studio audience.

He followed up with a string of quick-witted punchlines.

"People are saying Trump doesn’t know anything about the economy, and they might have a point. I mean, he thinks bear markets are where RFK Jr buys his lunch meat. I’m not kidding," he said, according to The Wrap.

"Trump thinks duopoly is the artist who sings ‘Dance the Night Away’ and ‘Levitating,'" Fallon quipped.

The comedian added, "Trump thinks that endowment is what the dad in ‘The White Lotus’ shared under his robe last night."

He then referenced Donald Trump Jr, adding, "Don Jr said, ‘I’ll snort what he’s snorting.’"

The late-night host introduced a parody commercial for Tesla, narrated by Trump.

In the commercial, Trump was supposed to promote the Cybertruck, but instead, he became fixated on criticizing its design.
