LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Former president Donald Trump recently attended his youngest son Barron Trump’s high school graduation after complaining about being unable to attend due to his ongoing legal battles.

Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel imagined what Trump’s speech might have been like at the ceremony, creating a satirical address filled with the former president's characteristic rhetoric and bombast.

Making it to Barron's graduation amid trial proceedings

Trump managed to make it to the event when Judge Juan Merchan postponed court proceedings for the day in Trump's hush money trial in New York.

Trump had previously expressed frustration about missing the ceremony due to his trial obligations, even though Judge Merchan had not yet decided whether the court would be in session that day.

However, Jimmy Kimmel wasted no time in diving into the absurdity of Trump's speech, which took place at his son Barron's graduation ceremony.

"Trump did not speak at the ceremony, which is a shame because, never mind the circumstance, no one is more full of pump than Trump," quipped Kimmel, highlighting the missed opportunity for another dose of Trump's unique rhetoric.

Kimmel said, "It's like what you'd say to your schnauzer after graduating obedience school: 'What a wonderful boy!'"

He humorously portrays Trump as dozing off during his own trial and later at Barron’s graduation ceremony, capturing the absurdity of the situation

He further added, "Let Baron borrow one of his giant red fat guy ties to drape around his shoulders you."

He further poked fun at Trump's tendency to veer off-topic and make bold, often bizarre statements, such as declaring, "The American dream is dead."

Social media blasts Jimmy Kimmel for his Trump-centric comedy

Despite Jimmy Kimmel's knack for eliciting laughter from his audience, he's not immune to criticism, especially when it comes to his frequent jabs at Donald Trump. Recent comments on social media highlight a divide in opinion, with some users suggesting that Kimmel's comedy relies too heavily on Trump-centric humor.

One social media user wrote, "What's even harder to Imagine is Jimmy trying to be a talk show host....................Its all about Trump right? Without Trump Jimmy has no show sad ending..............."

One user said, "I tried imagining Jimmy Kimmel being funny. Didn't happen."

Another said, "Jimmy Kimmel is obsessed with Trump. He has lost a lot of fans (including me) because of this obsession. All of the late night hosts seem to be irrationally obsessed with Trump but outwardly support a senile old man who has ruined this country. We need hosts that are like Johnny Carson was...just fun to watch and entertaining."

One user added, "Kimell's got some problems.Time for an extended vacation and putting the show on an extended hiatus."

Another added, "Jimmy Kimmel is a Democrat party prop."

One replied, "So Kimmel imagines what Trump would have said. Kimmel also imagines he's a comedian, but he's not. He's a clown."
