LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jimmy Kimmel imitated Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump while mocking comedian Jon Stewart after losing at the 2024 Emmys on Sunday, September 15, per OK Magazine.

Jon Stewart and his team behind 'The Daily Show' won the award for Outstanding Talk Series at the Emmys and Kimmel jokingly called out host Stewart for returning to the Comedy Central series nine years after he initially stepped away, according to People.

Jimmy Kimmel wrote on X on Monday, September 16, "The results of last night’s #Emmys were TOTALLY UNFAIR in the category of LATE NIt SHOW!! Sad! RIGGED!! POLSS SAY I won!!! BY a LOT! @JonStewart @StephenAtHome @SethMeyers."

Before this on Sunday during the Emmys, Kimmel took the stage following the ceremony's In Memoriam segment and jokingly jabbed at Stewart, "And that lesson is: Jon Stewart, you should be ashamed of yourself. You said you were retiring."

Kimmel's ABC talk show competed against 'The Daily Show', 'Late Night with Seth Meyers' and 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert' for the Outstanding Talk Series. It was Stewart's first Emmy since he won the award for Outstanding Live Variety Special in 2021 and his 23rd Emmy overall.

He quipped after fumbling his words and said, "You know what? That’s karma. That’s why I’m not gonna be president!" 

He also called out Trump for claiming he won against VP Kamala Harris after the debate on September 10. He said, "When Joe Biden slipped into a coma and started dreaming about sarsaparilla during the last debate, we acknowledged it, he acknowledged it and said he had a bad night and they sent him up to live on the farm upstate."
