WASHINGTON, DC: President Joe Biden wasted little time attacking JD Vance after former President Donald Trump said the Ohio senator would be his running mate in November.

Trump named Vance as his vice presidential pick on Monday afternoon, July 15, as Republicans open their 2024 national convention in Milwaukee.

Joe Biden says Donald Trump and Sen JD Vance will push more tax cuts for rich

Talking to the social networking site X, (formerly Twitter), Joe Biden said Donald Trump and Senator JD Vance's leadership, if they secure a win in the presidential election in November, will prove detrimental to the middle class.

“Here’s the deal about JD Vance. He talks a big game about working people," Biden posted on X.

"But now, he and Trump want to raise taxes on middle-class families while pushing more tax cuts for the rich,” the president added, along with a fundraising link to his campaign.

Trump has meanwhile secured the Republican nominee for President after getting enough delegates.

Eric Trump pledged Florida’s delegates for Trump, putting the former president over the number needed to secure the nomination.

Internet mocks Joe Biden for aiming at Donald Trump and Sen JD Vance

As various personalities across the political spectrum share their thoughts on Donald Trump's new running mate, JD Vance, some users weighed in on Joe Biden's first remarks against him.

Many among them mocked Biden's frequent use of the phrase "Here's the deal" and suggested making preparations for leaving the Whitehouse.

"Oh boy he started with “here’s the deal” you already know a lie is coming," wrote one on X.

"Here’s the deal about Joe Biden. He crashed our economy and abandoned our border. And what about Kamala Harris? She’s a DEI hire and an imbecile. She makes Joe’s dementia look normal. She’s slept her way into politics. She’s an unlikable, cackling, buffoon. Biden is done," wrote one more.

"Here’s the deal, Trump and Vance will make America Great Again," wrote one more. "Wow…your unity didn’t last too long!!!" mocked one.

"Joe, give it up. You’re done. It’s over. This is sad to watch now lol. Entertaining as f**k, but sad. You have 112 days left. Prepare accordingly," wrote one more.
